23.01.2022 After many photos, most of which did not quite get what I was after, even after talking to a photographer who gave me a number of hints to work on, have settled on these for displaying the suncatchers!!!! madeit.com.au/Main/Store?userId=131350

23.01.2022 Photographing suncatchers is quite challenging...haven't got the formula right yet but after sourcing some hints from a professional photographer will give it another whirl & see what I can come up with! Not happy with the ones I've taken 'til now....you'll see what I mean in these early photos!!!

23.01.2022 After trying to think outside the box & using inspiration from one of my favourite Made It shops (M Decor Botanica), have started working on these cute little decorative items....crocheted flower garlands. Crafted from 100% Australian wool or acrylic in variegated colours. Finished length is approximately 150cms. Probably suit a nursery or little girl's bedroom! $23.50 to $25.50 plus $5.50 postage Oz-wide! Feedback much appreciated!!!

21.01.2022 Just got the biggest surprise ever.....googled lacy crocheted scrunchies looking for some inspiration & the latest little addition to my Made-it store was amongst the photos. My first thought was....OMG, someone will think I stole a copyrighted layout then I saw it tagged with Made-it!! Clicked on the link & it took me straight to my listing...woohoo! 20.01.2022 Suncatcher #2.....so hard to photograph to get a decent picture which will show off the twinkling colours and the design features. If any of you have a way with photography, would love some hints!! Loving this colour combo but still need to work out some of the techniques to get a product to sell...

20.01.2022 I've taken the crochet bug into another realm....giving scrunchies a rest for the time being but have gone down the headband path for a little while. These are some that I've added to my madeit.com.au shop just today!

19.01.2022 This photo shows the project idea I'm currently working on....'wall-hanging/trivets'. They are 21cm square and will have feet on each back corner to protect surfaces, as well as hanging hardware to display as a picture...None of them are fully finished but you can get the idea from this!!!

18.01.2022 Instead of using downloaded mock-up backgrounds, decided to create my own & adding some of the cards I sell online...wish I'd discovered Paint 3D before now. Using this technique makes the photos to sell my items look so much more professional. Hopefully it'll result in some increased sales.....

17.01.2022 My cup runneth over....second set of coasters on its way to a new home in the Blue Mountains!! With this much activity, mosaics might be my new all-consuming passion!! Gives me an excuse to make some more....

16.01.2022 The making of the crocheted scrunchies is going great guns especially since I just bought this gorgeous variegated cotton....but just for variety am now making up some sets of cross stitched gift tags for my on-line store. Constantly looking for ways to boost my sales...hard to know what people are going to go for!!!

09.01.2022 A preview of the most recent additions to my on-line shop.....teapot coaster sets!!

08.01.2022 .....here's the solution to yesterday's puzzler!! Hair scrunchies!! The elastic band creates the stretch component in the centre. Someone at the markets does really well with sewn ones so maybe crochet ones will give me a point of difference when the markets start up again, that is!!

04.01.2022 Just going 'mad for mosaics' at the moment!! Wish I'd discovered this craft that sooooo suits my creative side long ago. Still no markets but have found a lovely lady who owns a plant nursery & gift shop in Kilcoy and she has taken some of my coasters to put into her gift shop. If you're up that way on a day trip, check it out!! Head up Showgrounds Road on the outskirts of town....Kilcoy's Backyard Bling & Landscape Supplies!!!

03.01.2022 Here are the first pair of scrunchies I hope to have in my shop...two sizes & both done with 100% cotton. Just need to check what postage will be before I upload them....I'm thinking about $2.50 as a large letter, but if they decide it's more than 2cm thick, then the price goes up to $8.95!! That might be the straw that breaks the camel's back...
