25.01.2022 Looking forward to this market, I will be in my usual spot

25.01.2022 Going to be hot but no rain... wahoo

25.01.2022 Don't forget Palm Cove Market is on this Sunday.... It's going to be a full market with 120 + stalls. For everyone's health and well being please follow the Covid distancing rules. Thank you. " New Product Alert" I should have some new Batik Patchwork shoulder bags for sale. Come and have a look I think they will be popular.

25.01.2022 Hi all, just to let you know that I will not be at Tanks Market this coming Sunday.....I'm covered in a rash (not contagious) and it's not a good look so I have decided to hide indoors for the duration. I should be back to normal for Palm Cove markets on the 2nd August. Thank you

23.01.2022 The countdown has begun! 5 days to go. (Article courtesy of Cairns Post)

21.01.2022 Palm Cove craft markets will be starting up again on Sunday 5th July. What more can I say than Wahoooo.

20.01.2022 Going to be a perfect day

19.01.2022 Hi everyone... at this stage it looks like the Palm Cove Market due to be held on 5th April will be cancelled. I will keep you posted however it's likely to effect all gatherings of over 500 people for the foreseeable future.

19.01.2022 Introducing a new product for 2021 Wristlet Key Fobs. They just slip onto your wrist and safely hold your keys etc on the heavy duty swivel clasp. I have some for sale now but they will also be available from my stall at the Palm Cove & Tanks Markets when they start up again April. They will cost $12.00 each.

18.01.2022 I have just been notified that all Cairns Council Markets have been cancelled until further notice. I feel for those stallholders who rely on these markets for income but fully support the decision Council has made. The markets effected are Tanks Markets, Esplanade Markets and Palm Cove Markets

17.01.2022 Reluctantly because the weather forecast for Sunday is to be Heavy rain with the potential for storms means I will not be attending Tanks Market this Sunday. Sitting under a metal marquee with storms rattling around is just not my "thing". I will be attending Palm Cove Market on 6th December and hopefully the last market for the year at the Christmas Market in the Fred Moule pavilion at the Showgrounds on Sunday 13th December.

16.01.2022 Please note that I will not be attending the Palm Cove Market today. So sorry for any inconvenience.

16.01.2022 Hi all.... before we know it Christmas will be here.... sorry. Here is a list of the markets I will be attending. 25th October - Tanks Market 1st November - Palm Cove Market 8th November - The Leukemia Foundation Christmas Market at the Fed Moule Pavilion.... 29th November - Tanks Market 6th December - Palm Cove Market Of course if you can't make a market I can arrange an "at home" for for you.

16.01.2022 Look out for Handmade By Pauline. My stall is at the Visitor centre end of the market..... So much new stock in gorgeous Batiks.

13.01.2022 So looking forward to Sunday, I love selling at the markets and this is always my favorite. Look me up at site H5.

10.01.2022 HI all, there have been changes to the regular schedules for the 2020 Craft Markets as Palm Cove and Tanks. 30th August - Tanks Market - no change 6th September - Carnival on Collins cancelled for 2020 6th September - Palm Cove - replacement for Carnival on Collins... 27th September - Tanks cancelled as it clashes with the re-scheduled Iron Man event. Dates for October and November are to be confirmed and I will update as soon as I know but as far as I know the normal Tanks & Palm Cove markets will go ahead as normal with a few Christmas Markets in between.

10.01.2022 It's been a long time between drinks but I'm sure it will be worth the wait. I'll be in my usual site and with some new products that I've been working on during the "dark times"

09.01.2022 I will be there as usual with lots of Christmas gift ideas

09.01.2022 Hi all, as expected the Palm Cove markets are not going ahead for the time being. Naturally we are all disappointed as we have been working hard since Christmas making new stock but appreciate that it is in everyone's interest to minimize personal contact. A review of the last weekends markets by the organizers highlighted that public attendance was significantly lower than normal and most stallholders closed early. So I will keep you posted on any other changes.

09.01.2022 Hopefully if things continue on a positive note as they have in Cairns, we should hopefully resume the monthly craft markets soon. Palm Cove Market would normally be on this Sunday and as in the past couple of years wild and woolly weather is expected. Winds are forecast 48 - 49 kms an hour, so glad we won't be there as it's not fun chasing stock down the esplanade. Fingers crossed that the restrictions on public gatherings will continue to be relaxed and the markets reopen again soon.

09.01.2022 Deleted my post by accident re Face Masks I have made for sale. I'll try again and hopefully won't hit the wrong button this time. I've made a;batch of face masks which I am selling for $10.00 each. They are made from cotton fabric and I have pleated them for a comfortable fit.. Put the elastic loops over your ears to keep them in place. They are not hospital grade and should only be used in a domestic environment or when shopping.. Wear once then wash in hot soapy water and hang to dry. I have made them in a range of floral, batik and Indigenous prints. Message me if you want one. Children's sizes are available on request.

09.01.2022 Tanks market yesterday was so hot and humid and visitor numbers were on the low side....Can't says I blame you staying in the cool.... finished the day with a flat battery and limped home but RACV came to the rescue with a new battery. Looking forward to Palm Cove Market next Sunday (with a fully functioning car) I have plenty of Christmas gifts on offer from $10. Handmade gifts are always appreciated

04.01.2022 Maybe just maybe if we're all good and do as we are told things may will get back to some sort of normal.

03.01.2022 Great News.... Tanks Markets will go ahead this coming Sunday 31st May. Not only that but the walkway from the Visitor Center down towards the Hwy has been partially paved so it's an all weather surface and supper posh. We have very strict protocol requirements regarding cleaning of the stall, social distancing and we are requesting cashless sales wherever possible. It won't be a full market yet but 68 stallholders will be there. We hope that after such a long break and with our excellent clean bill of health we will have lots of market visitors. Please support the stallholders as it's been a long time "between drinks".

01.01.2022 Don't you just love this weather, glad the outdoor markets are "resting" until April. I always use this time to develop new products to bring to the market as some of the current stock will be retired. This year I am focusing on smaller products that everyone would use. Once I have made up some samples I will put photos up on this site. One thing that has come out of Covid is a real shortage of decent materials and components and the prices have increased as well and we won't even talk about delivery costs. Time will tell if the suppliers are using this as an excuse or it's a genuine issue. Keep a look out for the photos because I think they will be something you will really like......

01.01.2022 A big thank you to all the lovely customers who came to my stall today at the Leukemia Foundation Christmas Market in Cairns. It was hot, very hot, but we still had a huge crowd who were busy buying Christmas presents. Looking forward to my next market at Tanks at the end of the month.

01.01.2022 This will be my last market for 2020....
