25.01.2022 This was my first foray into deep cast epoxy. The table features 1930's hoop pine VJ boards on the base with a similar vintage skirting board used to create a well that has been filled with shells and epoxy to give a real beach feel with a glass like finish. I was also able to source some 70 x 70 hoop pine door frame supports to use as the legs and they really add something to what is a unique piece which is for sale on our website, handmadetables.com.au

16.01.2022 This is the first table I built as part of handmadetables.com.au . Once in a very rear while I get access to VJ boards that have never been painted. The boards used are Hoop Pine from the 1930's and have been french polished to a deep lustre by being given 30 coats of varnish. It's a light weight table on metal legs but has a real personality. There are more pictures on my web site handmadetables.com.au, thanks for liking and sharing these posts it really helps. Seamus

08.01.2022 We found this 1900-1910's wash stand under a Queenslander deck. The rest of it was unsalvagable with dry rot as it was sitting in the dirt and weather. In line with our renew and reuse ethos we'll try to make something out of what's left Stay tuned and I'll post updates as it progresses hopefully over the coming weeks.

04.01.2022 @handmadetables.com.au this is my first attempt at a dining table. It is 200cm X 90cm all the timbers are 1930 hoop pine ( except the legs) and it is finished with 15 mm of epoxy to make it flat. Just waiting to do a finishing flood coat and then it'll go up on the website for sale
