15.01.2022 Spelling booklets are ready for Term 4 We help students to master phonics and spelling Our story: Ava (year 5) started her English course at our Centre because her main struggle was spelling. Soon after, she gained confidence in spelling and now she is acing in her weekly school spelling tests. She also surprised us recently as her spelling NAPLAN result was high BAND 7! ... We love seeing our students gaining confidence.

12.01.2022 Good news #1 for 2020 Term 3 Jonathan (yr 8) has never written a fantasy story before. Last term, he learned the convention of fantasy genre and creative writing techniques with Esther (English tutor).... At the end of term, he had to compose a creative fantasy piece under 60 minutes for his school English test. Last week, he showed his mark to us. It was 100% ! Congratulations to Jonathan for his hard effort and his willingness to adapt the skills/methods introduced during his English sessions at Hanwoori College. We really do understand that you are feeling worried about your family's health at these difficult times. That is why we wish to give you an update on how Hanwoori College is responding to COVID-19. 04.01.2022 Our college finished the year with great achievements including Principal, Daniel obtaining Doctorate Degree in Intercultural Studies, Miss Deborah receiving the Best Music award at International Computer Music Conference held in New York this year, Hanwoori college successfully relocating to a new and bigger premise (460 Old Northern Road) and many of our students achieving top marks for their school exams. We also obtained a patent for a language learning program that help...s people to memorise 30 words in 5 minutes! We will introduce more about this when we launch our new language courses next year. Thanks to our amazing customers' support and trust, all our sessions were fully booked this term. We have new customers on our waiting list, willing to send their children next year. We are looking forward to 2020 and we hope to have a great year with your children. Hanwoori Team will have a short break and use this time to get ready for another exciting year! All of our students studied diligently and majority of them have achieved their goals. 01.01.2022 2020 Term 3 week 9 Here are some of our English students who deserve *Jonathan (yr8) received 100% for his presentation assessment! Last term, he received 100% for creative writing. He was an average grade student when he first came to Hanwoori. It is amazing to see him making an outstanding progress! ... *Christian (yr8) received the band 6 for his presentation assessment! (21/25) *Daniel (yr10) received 20/25 for his speech! This was well above the average. *Eric received IELTS score of 5.5 which allowed him to enter UNSW Global course! He studied for university entrance exam and IELTS with us and have achieved his goal of entering a prestigious university in Australia. *Imasha (yr11) received A- grade for her English Advanced- module B assessment! (It was her first time receiving A grade for English :) It is our pleasure to teach students and to witness their development and achievements :) #hanwooricollege
