Cooking culture of China is like her civilisation, it has a long history and the great food of China originates from Canton and Cantonese cooking style has spread throughout the world. There are many imitators of the traditional style, but unless they have the knowledge and understanding of thousands of years of subtleties of combinations they will remain imitators. 15.01.2022 As I sit here at the restaurant, working along side one of the best human beings I have met my heart is saddened with everything that is going on it the world. It really hits home.. This great man has supported his staff and his community, the homeless, the fire fighters, all emergency workers, pensioners, seniors and children, he has gave many opportunities to many people over the last 11 years owning and operating his own business. He has been a qualified Cantonese Chef for... close to 40 years and has been an Australian citizen for 30 years. He has no family in Australia all of girls at Hao Kai Chinese are his family. It has made it extremely hard when we have had to make a decision to put staff on casual as they are on call now. We don’t have the work for everyone. But still his positive outlook for his business and his girls at hao kai it is just amazing.... He thinks of his customers, he has gone above and beyond to make sure the restaurant is a safe and clean environment. HAO KAI is still OPEN for business we do have limited tables but we will do the best to accommodate you. PLEASE be patient with our staff as they are doing there best.
