12.01.2022 In 1943 Franz Jaegerstaetter was guillotined. His crime was his refusal to join the Nazi Party as he didn't believe that the values of the Nazis were aligned to his own Catholic beliefs. He was abandoned by his own church who took the view that a simple Austrian farmer was incapable of interpreting God's law and that his refusal to join was in turn blasphemous. Oscar Redding plays Franz in Strangers to the World. We are currently seeking post production funds to complete this important film. Please support by donating by the link below. All donations are tax deductible in Australia. https://australianculturalfund.org.au//strangers-to-the-w/
