05.01.2022 Thank you! To YOUeveryone reading this for being part of our journey to NOW. From concept to conception; & during a time of world upheaval- every single post like; every word of encouragement; every new Enquiry; every participant in our competitions, our free giveaways, our practice workshops, raffles & finally last Sunday, our Official Opening in our new location- we give thanks. Looking forward to the year ahead for new team members on our Board, our Sponsors, volunteers &... our team. From the start, this has been about a family grassroots community service for the vulnerable; a nod to what special needs families really need and couldn’t find. Thats how we started. What we have built together, you can’t find anywhere else, thanks for being a part of that. It’s our joy and a pleasure to be accountable to you our community, and we look forward to getting to know you even better over the next year ahead. Stay well, stay focused, and above all, stay in the love and commitment that we live as special needs families. This year, we got our mountain to come to us! We are tribe See more

03.01.2022 In the news https://nvnews.com.au/autism-horses-australia-officially-o/

03.01.2022 Establishing a communication feedback loop is an imperative foundation for communication skills; requiring a bond, trust, listening & reciprocating. A bond was established in Session 1: here in Session 2 our awesome participant demonstrated awareness of his therapy horse communicating to him; and he reciprocated by responding appropriately to the feedback Clark the therapy Horse gave him. A massive moment in building the foundation for interoception, and following that, emotional regulation. SMS ‘enquire’ to 0422 518 955 for an Information brochure

02.01.2022 Therapy horse Clark was pacing and unsettled, so we took the opportunity to allow our participant to ‘teach’ Clark about the zones of regulation. Since we learn what we teach, our participant did a great job of solidifying the learning for himself. He told Clark that pacing means he’s feeling red. We asked him, ‘What can Clark do to get back to green?’ We brainstormed suggestions together and he decided he would take Clark for a walk with his Support Worker and Horse Handler Ange. This learning was fun and empowering for him because he is learning he is in control of his behaviour and outcomes, and can do things to change how he is feeling- just like his therapy horse Clark. Emotional regulation SMS ‘info’ to 0422 518 955 for an Information Brochure

02.01.2022 During her final program session, here participant Jess is working her new skill, ‘the point’; working the horses movement without any tack-- all just her body movement, energy, direction & assertion. Round of applause for Jess, our latest Superhero
