We snuck Miss Helen through our side gates so she could say a big... hello and all joined in as we sung our Happy Dance song together (whilst maintaining social distancing). Friends all over the world is the name of the first song in this class. It helps us to explore the idea that although we all look different on the outside, we all have the same kind of feelings on the inside, and this is why its very important to be kind to everyone no matter what they look like or where they come from. We begin our star class as starfish under the sea, bobbing along on the ocean floor stretching our arms and legs out as wide as we can, trying not to fall over! Next, its time to be glittering, shining stars way up in the nights sky. As the sun comes out, all of the little stars hide and go to sleep waiting for their time to jump up back into the night sky and twinkle as brig...ht as bright as the can. As you probably know, Children ADORE our HAPPY FEET FITNESS classes and benefit greatly from the emotional, physical, and character building aspects of our highly entertaining classes BUT DID YOU KNOW...... PARENTS DO TOO! If youre suddenly working from home, you can probably relate- Some days you look up from your keyboard and its suddenly 4pm! Other days, its impossible to even hear your emails come in over the washing machine beeping and your childrens inside voices . In BOTH these instances its important for you to take time to RE-SET. 02.01.2022 WOW!! Last week our HappyFeet@Home class was The Olympics and guess what? Two of our little Happy Feeters actually have an Olympian dad!! Dan and Wills dad is David William Crawshay who won gold when he teamed up with Scott Brennan in the men's double sculls for the 2008 Summer Olympics in Beijing, China. David has amazingly represented Australia in rowing at three consecutive Olympic games from Athens 2004 to London 2012.
