21.01.2022 The day has started well for our volleyball teams down at Glenelg. The sun has even come out! Thank you to Dean Carter for coordinating and all of our High School and parent helpers.

20.01.2022 Wow! What an incredible Celebration Day today! It was of course, very different to our usual amazing Celebration Night, but our kids did an amazing job! Thank you to Angela, our compares, stage crew and of course performers! Due to privacy restrictions classroom teachers will share videos of each class with their families. 16.01.2022 Our Middle Primary Students have been attending Water Safety Lessons this week. Much of the focus of these sessions is on survival techniques. Students have had a ball!

15.01.2022 Today the canteen was able to serve our Italian Special Lunch which was placed earlier in the term. Thank you to Marilyn, who when surrounded by meatballs, was able to adapt on short notice when the school went into hard lockdown! Marilyn, Arianne & Nikki served up 464 meatballs today - what a huge effort! This Friday was also Marilyn’s last day as Canteen Manager. We thank her for her hard work during this very difficult year and wish her all the best for the future. The Gov...erning Council are pleased to announce that we have secured a new Canteen Manager, Chantel Merrett. Due to Term 1 beginning on a Wednesday next year, the canteen will officially open in Week 2, beginning trading on Wednesday the 3rd of February with an updated menu. 05.01.2022 Today we marked Remembrance Day with a special assembly. Some of our Upper Primary students led the assembly which including a minutes silence at 11am.

05.01.2022 Happy Valley Primary School is seeking applicants to undertake the role of Canteen Manager. The position is a casual contract of 17 hours per week (3 days per week).The position is for the commencement of the 2021 school year with the opportunity of some training with the current Canteen Manager towards the end of 2020. 01.01.2022 Today we had a rescue mission on our hands! This kookaburra fledgling made its way onto our grounds during lunchtime much to everyone’s amazement. Thanks to Wendy N, Sam and Courtney for the rescue operation.

01.01.2022 Today was our second Transition visit for our new Reception students. They spent the morning getting to know each other, doing some activities and working with some of our Upper Primary students. The 2021 Receptions also joined the JP students on the playground at recess today.
