It helps us to explore the idea that although we all look different on the outside, we all have the same kind of feelings on the inside, and this is why it’s very important to be kind to everyone no matter what they look like or where they come from. 13.01.2022 This week’s HappyFeet@Home is the Star Class. There are many different kinds of stars to explore. We begin our star class as starfish under the sea, bobbing along on the ocean floor stretching our arms and legs out as wide as we can, trying not to fall over! Next, it’s time to be glittering, shining stars way up in the night’s sky. As the sun comes out, all of the little stars hide and go to sleep waiting for their time to jump up back into the night sky and twinkle as brig...ht as bright as the can. The fun original music combined with storytelling lyrics makes our Stars class very engaging, interactive and full of creative movement and fun. 02.01.2022 WOW!! Last week our HappyFeet@Home class was The Olympics and guess what? Two of our little Happy Feeters actually have an Olympian dad!! Dan and Will’s dad is David William Crawshay who won gold when he teamed up with Scott Brennan in the men's double sculls for the 2008 Summer Olympics in Beijing, China. David has amazingly represented Australia in rowing at three consecutive Olympic games from Athens 2004 to London 2012. Thanks for sharing your dad’s gold medal with us Dan and Will, how super proud you must be! Happy Feet families have such wonderful stories and we love hearing about them.
