Lip Balm Click through to see us doing the oh-sooooo-satisfying hand-pour for each and every one of these little beauties Perhaps the most interesting two things about Your Crack Me Up! are;... 1 It's 100% plastic free! See those tubes? They're made from biodegradable cardboard. Paper and Cardboard have got to be our FAVOURITE types of packaging, but there’s only a few different types of products that lend themselves to being packaged like this (but we’re always exploring this, wink wink). 2 It's 100% vegan! It seems like eons ago but we used to have another Happy Skincare lip balm but we stopped making it because it used beeswax which we decided not to use in our products anymore (because of our vegan accreditation we wanted to be completely free of animal products). We had planned on releasing a new lip balm not long after, because we didn’t think it would take this long to find the perfect replacement for beeswax! We had pretty much given up until by a fluke we heard about a nifty little ingredient called bayberry wax. It is very common in America as it’s grown there but down here in Oz it is a little hard to come by. It’s mostly used for candle making but we have found that it makes an AMAZING skincare ingredient. In our humble opinion, the You Crack Me Up! Lip balm is even better than the old beeswax version. The beauty of bayberry wax is that it melts at a low temperature about body temperature to give your lips a most luscious coating that seems to last forever. Believe it or not, mixing up our beautiful formulations for you isn’t the best part of what we get to do here at Happy HQ. That’s pretty awesome and lots of fun, but what really makes us tick is getting to know YOU .... Right from the very start of Happy Skincare we were dead set against becoming big, faceless cosmetics giant. My biggest problem was breakouts of little red pimples either side of my nose close to my cheek area on my face. I spray the perfecting tonic liberally on my face, rub it in a little then wipe it off my face with a tissue to "Cleanse" the area and once I'm done doing that I then reapply m...ore of the perfecting tonic to my face and gently rub it into my skin and leave it on my face. Doing this has significantly reduced the pimples from appearing. Now I only occasionally (very rarely) have pimple breakouts on my face but when the occasional ones appear I do the above two steps a few times thoughout the day and usually this is enough to sort out these breakouts quickly (usually by the next day but definitely sorts out the problem within a few days MAXIMUM when putting a little extra attention on the problem area). This product has been a great pimple prevention/treatment for my skin and it is EXACTLY what I was hoping to come across. I use this product every morning and at night.
