24.01.2022 Harben Vale Cherries are now CLOSED for the 2018/2019 season. Wayne and Julie would like to Thank everyone who came to pick cherries this season. It was lovely meeting you all and we hope you enjoyed the cherries.

24.01.2022 Within a week of my last photos, the cherry blossom has burst. The bees will be very busy once we get some fine weather. After a low crop of cherries last year, we are hoping for a better crop this year.

23.01.2022 Autumn has arrived at Harben Vale Cherries. The trees will loose there leaves and go dormant during the winter months, preparing for Spring. Still busy in the orchard with pruning etc. Stay Safe Everyone.

22.01.2022 It has been a very cold winter with reasonable rainfall. The cherry trees are just starting to show signs of life after being dormant over winter. Bud burst and blossom expected over the coming weeks.

21.01.2022 During the past month, we have been busy pruning and grafting cherry trees while they are dormant. The cherry trees are just starting to wake up. The first buds have burst with blossom. The season is starting.

20.01.2022 Although we are in uncertain times with Covid, the cherries continue to ripen, as we move into December. We have been lucky with no rain so far, hopefully it will continue. Size and quality looking good. Keep watching for updates end of next week.

So far minimal damage from rain, BUT more rain forcasted for today and Saturday. We will be picking Stella only until more varieties ripen. The Stella are ripe but not overly sweet yet. 18.01.2022 The 2020 Cherry Season is coming, but slowly this year. We have checked the cherries this afternoon. Sorry to say but they are not ripening as quick as we thought. Unfortunately the weather has been very cool, which is not helping.... Keep watching our Facebook page for updates.

16.01.2022 A walk through the Cherry Orchard today was lovely. It was encouraging to see good growth on the trees and a nice amount of blossom. With a reasonable set we are hoping for a good crop of Cherries this year.

13.01.2022 Autumn has arrived on the Cherry Farm. We had a very hot and dry summer with lots of watering required. The trees will now loose their leaves and go dormant over the winter months. We are hoping for a cold and wet winter as this will help the cherries to crop well for next season.
