14.01.2022 Och THIS video... Wow....it makes me laugh and it makes me cry. It makes me remember..... It takes me back through the success stories and the sadness. Makes me see how heavy my heart was.... It's been a long six years fighting for our plant. It's been a hard six years fighting for our patients. I may not be doing interviews like this anymore but my pledge to The Plant is that I won't stop until you are growing in our gardens. Today, for a change I am acknowledging all I have done for this movement not to be arrogant or big headed but because I have often denied it, but looking back through my memories I can no longer do that. This video reminds me of the 19hour days, the hundreds and hundreds and hundreds of phone calls between patients, advocates, doctors, media, politicians my phone rang from 4am til Midnight 7 days a week for 4yrs. The meetings from Creek to Coast, 1000's and 1000's of Kilometres. The sacrifices my family made - CannaMum there more often than just mum, weekends away where workshops or Nimbin with nothing in between. But you know what? I would not change a thing. Cannabis changed me and changed my life and by doing that empowered me to help it do the same for others... So to all those that I have met along the way, the patients, pollies, doctors and most of all the advocates this little pat on the back is for you too. Four short years ago cannabis was mainly taboo in this country and now...well as long as you have the $$$$ ( we will change this) You can access ALOT of cannabis products legally now. We did that. Yes we did. No, we are not finished....not until we have home grow #No1LeftBehind but f*ck me we have done bloody well. So to each of you I tip my hat and I Thank YOU for EVERY SINGLE LITTLE thing YOU have done, the phone calls, the mad dash car rides 400km away to provide medicine, the money, the mayhem, the education, the petitions, the submissions, the sadness the success.... THANK YOU for being part of this crazy cannabis journey...whether today we love, like or loath each other I am grateful for the experience of knowing you. And to those that have gone since this interview was made, their passion lights our path with the stars in our sky, I give the greatest of thanks...the truth on your lips til your last breath you have been cruelly taken from our lives but you live forever in our hearts

At just 10 years old Harper had a life full of passion, energy and dedication to the environment. Harper's journey into conservation began young - a childhood filled with wonder and curiosity about the planet around him. ... Harper soon learned about the big issues such as whaling, climate change and deforestation, but rather than feel defeated, Harper used this knowledge to drive him to take action. At age 7 he organised for Sea Shepherd to come to his school; at age 8 he joined a local conservation group and became a Platypus Ambassador; and at age 10 he went on the School Strike for Climate March. Harper's eagerness to learn, to teach others and take action was very clear. He shone brightly volunteering at community events and festivals where he proudly educated children and adults about ways to protect the environment. He helped: - Clean up over 2000 items of litter - Plant over 1000 trees - Build and sell nest boxes for native wildlife - Advocate for the successful ban of Opera House Nets in Victoria, which has saved countless platypuses. - And so much more.... Devastatingly, Harper died suddenly aged 10. Those of us who knew and loved him not only lost a wonderful, funny, kind-hearted friend, but we also knew that the world had lost someone who was going to make a big difference. We all knew that Harper was going to live a life of action and change. We knew Harper was going to make a positive impact on a planet that desperately needs strong voices and so now, we need to work together to fill the void that he has left. As Harper's mother it is my greatest dream to see my son's vision for a healthier planet come true. 03.01.2022 A quick insight to my opinion on Cannabis. I thank Steve Dickson MP for the use of his offices. Also 7 News Sunshine Coast for allowing me the opportunity to have an honest interview on cannabis medicine in Queensland and indeed Australia. ... Cannabis is an absolute necessity for many Queenslanders. Every single day somebody else contacts me for advice on cannabis medicine. That number quadruples every single time the Government releases empty promises of Cannabis Medicine for our sick and dying. We, as a community must unite to bring change. Steve Dickson is one Politician. We need more to put people before politics before change will come. Please contact your local MP and DEMAND they do MORE! In the age of education ignorance is a choice.
