25.01.2022 Happy 2nd birthday our beautiful Harmony oh how we all love you & your beautiful affectionate personality. So blessed to have you the filly who has every other horse wrapped around her little hoof. My hope is you continue to be your quirky self; stealing all of the other horses food making it impossible for anyone to enter your paddock without patting you & always managing to stick your hooves where they don’t belong, don’t ever change Another year of growing and maturing to go before you become a superb riding horse. 23.01.2022 So proud of these girls & their horses. We had a bucket load of issues from the coach sleeping through her alarm to suddenly lame horses to callers confusing riders but the main thing is, they did it. I love this team because it doesn’t matter what’s thrown our way we still go out. We don’t scratch because we aren’t quite ready or lacking in confidence, we go out there, do the best we can on the day with the horse we’ve got. Then we all debrief remember it’s only the beginning of our journey, learn, move on & focus on the next comp. Always winners in my eyes, best group of kids & parents

22.01.2022 A rough start to the morning with one of the team members down sick (get better soon Snow) but these two still did their team proud. Very first outing for firecracker Tilly & Charlie handled her very well. Jaz & Buddy just cruised around like the Sunday morning it is. Super proud of my gorgeous riders and horses. Well done girls

20.01.2022 Today my heart broke as we said goodbye to our beautiful barbie pony, Aurelia. I’m beyond sad. This gorgeous girl taught me so much & it hurts beyond words to know even after the extent of our efforts and hope in the end it was her time to go. She will be forever missed, continually loved & cherished forever. I am eternally grateful for the years I spent knowing and loving her. Her spirit will live on in her daughter, Harmony. ... RIP my beautiful gentle soul.

18.01.2022 Today my Academy students were given the opportunity to put their core muscles to the test and try trick riding! What an absolutely amazing day, very sore & tired kids by the end but soo worth it. Thanks HLS Trick Riding lessons & equestrian services S.E QLD was fantastic to have you for the day, look forward to seeing you again soon. H.O.R.S.E Academy is so much more than just riding

15.01.2022 Ever seen a unicorn? Meet Zeus our resident 4yo unicorn. The most beautiful trusting & chilled boy. Notice he could quite easily just walk away, he’s in the arena with no halter on. Gosh I’m lucky to have so many uniquely beautiful horses that I get to share with all of my students

12.01.2022 Horse ownership is a lifetime commitment. I have committed to loving & caring for each and every one of my gorgeous horses. This means doing everything in my power to ensure they’re healthy & safe. So in saying this, our last 36 hours have been very scary to say the least. Our poor darling Aurelia came down with colic and she went down hill quickly. With the help of our amazing Vet Deb from Town & Country Vet staying with us until 1.30am this morning and my incredible husband... volunteering to stay with our girl, monitoring her and administering pain medication throughout the early hours of the morning we managed to get her through the hardest part. We swapped shifts at 6am and then @ameliawilliams_ and I sat with her until 12pm when Deb the vet was able to get back and assess her. She’s done an incredible job of turning herself around and is 80% better now. At 1.30am this morning we were thinking that in the morning there would be no other choice than to send her to the hospital. Such a strong beautiful pony, defying the odds and recovering. She’s now taking it slow, in the paddock enjoying the grass. In 20 years of owning horses this is my first ever experience with colic, I really hope it’s my last. My horses really do mean the world to me. So relieved with the outcome & so lucky to still have our girl with us. Thanks to everyone who has helped save our barbie pony.
