Their award winning outdoor LED screen being the main focus of the Wellama "welcome to country" visual installation enhanced with a 5.1 surround sound system creates a truly immersive experience. 25.01.2022 Barangaroo - Wellama Project Overview "Wellama means to come back in the Sydney language. This 10 minute audio visual artwork, by Alison Page and Nik Lachajczak, is a celebration of ritual, ceremony and story practised on Country since time immemorial. The work is a contemporary re-imagining of Welcome to Country, a customary greeting that our First Peoples extend to visitors, who in turn agree to respect the traditional laws and culture of Country.... Wellama welcomes visitors to Gadigal Country and pays respect to the Traditional Custodians of this land." (Barangaroo Delivery Authority 2019) Hart Automation implemented a 8m x 4m outdoor LED video wall with a 21 speaker 5.1 surround sound system that is automated by a Crestron control system. Over the course of two weeks we installed; 17 x Community PRO D10 ceiling speakers; 4 x Community PRO D10SUBS; 64 x VUEPIX ER series outdoor LED modules; 2 x Lab Gruppen C series (C28:4, & C48:4); 1 x Biamp TesiraForte; 1 x Crestron HD-XSP; 1 x Crestron DMPS-4K-150-C; 1 x Crestron TSW-760-B-S; 2 x Wall mounted racks; And a whole bunch of cabling & conduit.
