20.01.2022 Harts Takeaway @ Junction Hotel Peterborough are delighted to announce a children’s Art & Craft afternoon, where children can come in and create a Halloween themed creation. Hosted on Saturday 24th of October from 2pm till 5pm. 2 x prizes of $25.00 gift cards for Peterborough News-agency will be drawn for the most inventive creation on Halloween night at 7:45pm, by the honourable Mayor Ruth Whittle. The afternoon is free of charge. We only just ask that parents pre-book their children in. We are also asking for volunteers to assist in supervision.

19.01.2022 To assist us in clearing perishable stock from our bar we will be selling all beer bottles from $1.85 - $2.50 each. Cartons may be available depending on stock held. This includes all premium bottles. Must be takeaway only. This includes cider and all soft drink 600ml will go at $2ea cans at $1ea. 15.01.2022 Junction Hotel and Team would like to thank the people who attended our first Trash and Treasure Day. By popular demand we will be hosting the next Trash and Treasure day on Saturday 22nd of February. Anyone who would like to be involved on the day and set up their own stall please contact us on 08 8651 2235. Stall costs will be $10 (inclusive of insurance and $5 going to Cancer Research). Stall set up will be 9:00am - 9:30am for a 10:00am start. Approximate finish is 2:30pm. Rear of Hotel, corner of Kitchener and High Street Peterborough.

15.01.2022 Well folks, another massive blow to the hospitality sector as many others. As of midday tomorrow we and other businesses will be forced to shut our doors. From midday tomorrow, the hotel, bar and restaurant will close as with gaming in which had been shut down yesterday. We will still be able to continue our takeaway services; however no dine in meals can be provided. It is with deep regret that our employees have been severely impacted by recent events and my prayers go out to them and their families. This also means that all community events at the hotel have been cancelled.

10.01.2022 To much regret: new social distancing requirements have left us with no choice but to close our gaming facilities temporarily. New measures are in place for dining facilities and bar areas also. We apologise for the inconvenience. We are still operating and are adjusting when new requirements are being enforced.

09.01.2022 After much deliberation we have decided to change our trading hours back to our original times of 8am till 9pm Monday to Saturday, with last orders 30 mins prior to closing. We have trialled Sunday trading for the past couple months in which it is not viable at present. We will open for private functions and large bookings on Sundays (pre-bookings essential) this will come into effect as of this Saturday 17th until further notice.

05.01.2022 One of the hardest decisions I am forced to make is to cease all operations including our takeaway services. Due to current circumstances we will cease trade from 2pm today until further notice. From all of us at Harts/Junction Hotel we wish you well and will keep everyone updated as to when we will re-commence trade. Our decision is to protect the community.

05.01.2022 Due to the widespread panic and precautionary measures taking place with the COVID-19 epidemic. New protocols have been applied to minimise the risk to patrons at the Hotel. We are not closing our doors and will continue to provide for the community as best as we can. Part of our plans are: Reducing staff levels... Separation of patrons in dining areas Providing antibacterial wipes for Gaming Room Hand sanitary points for patrons Enforcing minimum distance requirements Removing hand out menus Regular sanitisation of all areas Encourage phone orders where possible These are just a few measures in place: some may find it too much; however we are trying to ensure our services are available for the community during this period.
