06.01.2022 Battle ropes are an exciting and effective means to spice up your workout and to incorporate high intensity interval training (HIIT) into your daily regime. This is due to the battle ropes being a perfect tool to aid in developing your power and explosiveness, as well as greatly increasing your anaerobic and aerobic endurance. The benefits to training with battle ropes are endless; 1) Low Impact Exercise... Due to the static position being held the exercise is low impact, placing minimal stress on the joints with all the force being applied to the muscular system. 2) Unilateral dominance/imbalance When you train with battle ropes, you may realize that one side of your body may move differently than the other. It may generate a smaller wave, be more uncoordinated, etc. One of the benefits of battle rope training is that over time, these differences will go away as your body starts to balance itself out. 3) Versatility You can literally train with them anywhere. As long as you have enough space and a solid anchor point, you can do them at home, at the gym, or even outside. 4) It’s functional fitness Battle rope training involves the entire body, training the neuromuscular system to apply force that begins at the core and extends through the extremities (both arms and legs). You’ll also develop a killer grip and increase your power output through exercises like power slams. Furthermore, the high intensity, rapid nature of battle rope training means that you will develop an insane amount of muscular and cardiovascular endurancenot to mention burning a ton of fat in the process.
03.01.2022 Astounding work today Alex! After as little as 4 weeks of motivated and exceptional anaerobic and agility training, you have shed a solid 20% off your overall time when completing the Illinois Agility Test! Keep up the good work mate
