09.01.2022 Rev John Ruhle has shared this #prayer for Father's Day. Heavenly Father, As we celebrate Father’s Day we think about our dads. Dads nearby and dads far away.... Dads who have been there for us through the good and bad times, and dads who have struggled to know what it means to show unconditional love and support. We give you thanks for fathers and grandfathers who are role models to other men to show them what it means to be a dad who creates an environment of safety and encouragement that allows children and families to thrive and flourish. We give thanks that we can call you our heavenly father and for the comfort and peace this brings so many people. In this time of disconnect due to social isolation, self-quarantine and a global pandemic we acknowledge that more than ever we all need to feel connected. Connected to our communities, our families and our dads. So this father’s day, we give thanks and pray a blessing on all the dads who have shown us something of your love and your grace in our lives.
