23.01.2022 The new Border Zone Bubble ! The new restrictions have essentially created a Border Zone Bubble which allows border residents to freely come and go across the NSW/QLD border without having to enter into a 14 day quarantine period. In simple terms the Border Zone Bubble extends from Beenleigh (Postcode 4207) south to Coolangatta and from Brunswick Heads (Postcode 2483) North to Tweed Heads. If you reside within this area you can come and go across the border for any purpos...e including work, recreation and social activities as long as you don’t leave the Border Zone Bubble Haven33 is located within the Border Zone Bubble and therefore we have made some changes to adapt to the new restrictions. The remaining events for the year to have been shuffled around to the following dates; 26 Sep 2020 Latex Leather (One Buck Bondage) 24 Oct 2020 Night of the Spirits (Halloween) 28 Nov 2020 Fairy-tale Fantasy 19 Dec 2020 Masquerade Ball The new Haven Social Event (formerly known as "social rope") will continue to be held on the third Saturday of each month with the first one being held on the 19th September, 1-5pm. Tickets via eventbrite. Haven33 is open for room hire at any time. The Gold Coast Social Munch at Lone Star Tavern is also within the Border Zone Bubble. This is creating a great interest in the fun we have and as such we encourage people come along. So it's not quite business as usual but it’s a great opportunity for people in the Border Zone Bubble to come, meet other Border Zone Bubble people and dip their toe in! From the 1st October 2020, the QLD Government has removed the Border Bubble on the QLD side of the NSW Border which means; ... Any QLD resident can travel to the Northern NSW Border Bubble which extends south of Lismore and Ballina ... Any NSW Border Bubble resident can travel anywhere in QLD ... A Border Declaration pass is still required crossing into QLD. (https://www.qld.gov.au/border-pass) All of our activities remain compliant with NSW Health Guidelines and will do until further advice is received from NSW Health. 04.01.2022 NSW QLD Border Changes + Impact on events at Haven33 These unprecedented times we are living through have once again thrown a curve ball at us. Many of you would be aware that the Queensland Government announced yesterday that from Saturday 8th August 2020, that state will have increased restricted entry requirements. Now that we have more detail about that announcement, we are able to properly assess how that will impact Haven33 and more importantly, the Sold Out Latex/Leath...er (One Buck Bondage) on the 22 August 2020. Only border residents will be able to freely come and go across the NSW/QLD border without having to enter into a 14 day quarantine period. This obviously includes those living in the Tweed and Gold Coast. We have reviewed our ticket holder information that indicates more than half of the guests reside outside what is likely to be considered the border suburbs. That would mean, those people are free to cross the border and come to Haven33 but when you return you would be directed into self-funded quarantine. It is clear that this COVID situation is forcing dynamic and ever changing responses from Government and as a result we have taken the decision to Postpone the Latex/Leather (One Buck Bondage) event until 26 September 2020. As a business we are trying to maintain adaptability to the changing and short-term notice of decisions coming from the QLD Government. To that end, we will be shuffling the order of the remaining events for the year to the following; 26 Sep 2020 Latex Leather (One Buck Bondage) 24 Oct 2020 Night of the Spirits (Halloween) 28 Nov 2020 Fairy-tale Fantasy 19 Dec 2020 Masquerade Ball We have an ever-increasing demand from a growing community in the Northern Rivers & Gold Coast so we are going to make the most of this situation and encourage new people come along and check out Haven33 on these nights. All current tickets for the Latex Leather (One Buck Bondage) event scheduled for 22 August 2020 will automatically be transferred to the Latex Leather (One Buck Bondage) 26 September 2020 event, so there’s nothing you need to do if you are happy to come in September. If you want your ticket reallocated to another event please get in contact with us via email.
