24.01.2022 2020 National Excellence in Building and Construction Awards. We are a finalist for the Hobart College Theatre Upgrade. Awards are this Saturday 28 November 2020, streamed via Master Builders Australia Facebook and YouTube channels. Wish us luck.... Again, a massive shout out to all our subcontractors and suppliers who played a vital role in the success of this project and all projects we undertake.

24.01.2022 HOBART COLLEGE THEATRE UPGRADE We recently attended the opening of the newly upgraded Hobart College Theatre which we were the principle building contractor. The opening was originally scheduled for March, but due to COVID-19 it had to be postpone until August.... The Hon. Mr Jeremy Rockliff, Minister for Education and Training officially opened the theatre and also in attendance was the Speaker of the House of Assembly, Hon. Sue Hickey and Attorney-General, Elise Archer MP. The project’s objective was to refurbish one of the oldest parts of Hobart College and bring it into the 21st century. In Tracy Siedler's (Principal of Hobart College) speech, she said: this particular project was relatively drama free considering the scope and highly technical aspect of it finished product is a result of a consistent and sustained team effort Haven Built was highly professional in the execution of the project and highly considerate of working within a school setting. The outcome of the project is fantastic. We have delivered a facility that empowers Hobart College, its students and the community. A facility which is now future proofed to deal with new technologies as the entertainment and performing arts industry evolves. 22.01.2022 A lovely way to end the week after the devastating situation the world is facing. A Haven Built team bbq with pulled pork rolls, cooked on-site by the guys. Delicious. We are extremy grateful for being able to continue working at this stage (time will tell) and we are sending warm, positive thoughts to everyone experiencing hard times at the moment.

17.01.2022 We have been quiet on social media lately, but definitely not quiet behind the scenes. New Town Primary School Kindergarten Refurbishment was handed over today. A wonderful new space for the kinders to enjoy in term 4. Photos to come soon, but how cool is the fence softly curving around the kinder yard and tree. Not your average straight picket fence. A lot of care and workmanship went in to making it a curved fence.

17.01.2022 It was wonderful to welcome the Small Business Minister, Michael Ferguson, to our New Town Primary School project today. It was a great opportunity to talk to him about the Buy Local policy and the positive impact it has had and will continue to have on our business.

14.01.2022 What a great start to the week being able to hand over keys to our clients so they can start to move back in and enjoy their newly renovated home. At Haven Built, we pride ourselves on the client relationships we develop throughout the entire build process and handing over keys is a nice opportunity to show our appreciation to clients for trusting us a their builder and to say thank you for choosing Haven Built. It was such an exciting night for us being alongside such impressive and high calibre companies within the commercial building categories. We took home the following Awards for our Hobart College Theatre Upgrade project:... 09.01.2022 Sunny Monday vibes at Haven Built. Also a big welcome to Jacob. Jacob has just completed year 12 and has joined the Haven Built team as an apprentice carpenter.

This year's theme is "Active-Ageing" and it's about encouraging everyone to "Move More, Age Better". Being physically active and staying fit and healthy will help you get the most out of life, whatever your age. When Todd's not in his Haven Built work gear, he is seen in this pink outfit as the runner for North Hobart Football Club. 05.01.2022 We have started ground works for a new project in Lenah Valley which is very exciting. What's even more exciting for any timber lovers out there, is we have been able to reclaim some trees which we plan on creating bespoke piece(s) of furniture from. Our love and passion for building does not stop at architectural homes/projects and light commerical work. It extends all the way through to designing and creating high quality, hand made timber pieces for our private enjoyment.

04.01.2022 In 2015, we undertook an open plan living, dining and kitchen extension. Now, in 2019, we are back at the same home to undertake the next renovation phase for our client. Even our little team members know how important safety is. Hi visibility clothing is one of the simplest parts of your personal protective equipment, but it's also effective because many accidents are caused by someone not being conspicuous enough to avoid. ...
