22.01.2022 BIG BIG news but not the news I’m sure you all expected to hear! So unfortunately the time has come for Jason and his family to move back to Canada to be around both of his and Danielle’s families. They have spent a good part of 10yrs calling Melbourne home, and I’m sure always will. This sadly means HAYBAX will be parting ways and you won’t be seeing Jase and myself gracing the stage together any longer.... It is tough to picture this after all these years and seeing the support from so many friends each weekend. It truly has been awesome to play for you every week. However there is some good news I (lachy) will be continuing on the name (for a little while) HAYBAX with our good friend @neumark.shwababy keeping the duo alive and pumping out tunes every weekend for you to enjoy! There is a new name in place that I think you will love but we’ll keep this under wraps for a while. Jase and myself want to thank each and every person who has ever been to a gig, booked us for an event, wedding, function or even just taken the time to look at our page! Non of this would be possible without the support of you coming to gigs, talking about us to people and getting us out there. It has been one hell of a ride with gigs all across the country from Noosa, Perth, Adelaide, Sydney, literally all over Victoria and even took us to Italy. We have had so many wild gigs and events that have made some of the fondest memories we’ll ever have. Not only was it a great band we made but one of the closest and ever lasting friendships I’ll have. This isn’t the end, I’m sure Jase will be back on occasions and when he is we’ll reunite for some one off gigs. But until then watch our stories to see where we are playing and try catch as many gigs as you can until he’s on his way home. There will still be music from HAYBAX, we will carry on the reputation we have built and continue to bring as much fun and entertainment to the music scene as ever!
