24.01.2022 How different is training for a sport? . Well it depends on the sport. . I have spent my entire life racing go-karts and have made many mistakes along the way with training.... . But over the years I have learnt which ones have helped me get the most out of my body when racing. . While it may look like we do regular training, it is structured very differently. . For Motorsport you need lots of upper body strength, if you start to fatigue you will notice the heads on the drivers falling to the side when turning . So training for Motorsport is different to your regular day to day training. See more

Finishing the weekend in 5th wasn’t bad, got some work to do before emerald. Now, back to training @elev8hp_ #luckybling

Your light anywhere from 8 upwards. . That’s when the weight is right. . Mix it up, but don’t go stupid heavy causing an injury. See more



19.01.2022 Do you suffer with arm pump when driving? . For those that have driven a KZ kart, you will know how important forearm/grip strength is. . As I have been out of the kart for 6 months, it’s now time to dial up my conditioning and grip training.... . If you suffer from grip strength, you should definitely add that into your training! . 04.01.2022 Client spotlight Today I’m giving my client David Thompson a massive shout out! Davo competed in the crossfit master series, which consists of 4 workouts over 4 weeks. They supply the workout you have to do in the week and then get judged and log the score online. If by the end of the 4 weeks you are top 6 in your state you move onto the next stage which is regionals.... Well Davo has absolutely smashed it out of the park with not only getting into the top 6 but he is number 1 in qld!! And 15th best in Australia!!! He has put some serious time and commitment into his training and it has all paid off. Well done Davo! Keep smashing those goals

Especially resistance training, breaks down your body tissues. . Rest days allow your muscles, nerves, bones, and connective tissue to repair. .
