23.01.2022 A SPECIAL MESSAGE TO THE HILL CLIMB COMMUNITY FROM BLEND LINE TV BLEND LINE TV are pleased to announce a final cumulative viewing audience for the CAMS Austral...ian Hill Climb Championship, organised by the Bathurst Light Car Club, of 139,463 views. This number represents a record for a single event on Blend Line TV, and a record for a national level non-circuit racing motor sport event. At Blend Line TV we are blown away by the support shown by the hill climb community, not only in your viewership, but your encouragement and support, both online and offline. A special thank you to everybody at the Bathurst Light Car Club and the event organising committee, who bravely took on this undertaking we hope this outstanding result is rewarded with the kudos that it deserves. We tip our hat to all the event sponsors, and a special mention to the Confederation of Australian Motor Sport who also assisted with support. Like a lot of times where Blend Line TV has offered coverage to a new segment of motor sport, it is offered at a near or below cost basis to give that group an opportunity to grow their sport. We do this because it is a part of our commitment to motor sport generally to grow the sport, and we’re very proud of it. We hope this inspires the hill climb community to continue to aspire to grow the sport with us. We’ve already received multiple requests from various clubs and panels to do more, and once we pack up fully from Bathurst we will be talking to all of you on how we can work together to keep growing the sport with more coverage, whether that be through live streaming or other means. It won’t always be easy, or cheap, but we’re up for the challenge. We hope whether you are a competitor, a committee member, a supporter or a viewer of hill climb in Australia, that you’ll join us. Thanks again from all of us at BLEND LINE TV.
