23.01.2022 The Fireboss has landed With a flight time of 11.7 hours, covering over 1700nm (3150km) with an average airspeed of 150kts (270km/h), Stephen landed at Albury NSW last night at 1930 local time. Stephen Death had good weather all the way and was met with a picturesque sunset on his arrival at Albury. Thanks to some rain on another leg, the Fireboss was even looking clean despite the fact its travelled halfway around the globe.... We thank everyone who helped along the route or who has been following the journey with us. After 950nm through India to Sri Lanka and over 1400nm across the Bay of Bengal to Singapore Stephen is now getting very close to hitting Australian shores! 22.01.2022 Busy day at the Mansfield Fire base today. Not expecting any fires. The Rain has been excellent for all of our farmers.

22.01.2022 With much assistance from our neighbours at Smartair, our Airtractor 402 is in for a Engine Hot Section Inspection this week. All is looking good inside the PT6A-15AG engine and it should be ready to go back to the fields by early next week.

21.01.2022 A busy few weeks keeping the Sclerotina Fungus at bay in Canola crops in the eastern Riverina for our home bases at Albury and Brocklesby . Thanks to all of our crew for a great job. Our four aircraft, with our four local pilots are ready for the next round of spraying and spreading.

20.01.2022 Next stop, Australia! After a flight time of 9.3 hours and covering 980nm from Singapore, Stephen landed in Bali last night. Other than dodging some weather that went to a height of just under 10000ft Stephen had an uneventful flight.... 18.01.2022 Interesting visit with Rod McNeill in Hobart today to look at his replica Spitfire project. He has been working at the project for 8 years and still has a little to go. Lots of use of Carbon Fibre technology and modern structures engineering data.

10.01.2022 Stephen Death is off on another ferry and he has found a very interesting aircraft museum on a rest afternoon. Those with a keen eye will note the Airtruk amongst the exhibits! Stephen has landed in Spain to pick up an Air Tractor 802 Fireboss to bring back to Australia for one of our very good customers. Once it has arrived in Albury we will be carrying out an import C of A for our customer and preparing it to go to work, ASAP fighting fires here in Australia.... 06.01.2022 Another fantastic Tyabb Airshow, one of Australias premier airshows and arguably the best in Victoria. The Hazair team was there with our Harvard, VH-YVI, as part of the Southern Knights. Stephen was also helping out the Temora Aviation Museum crew with their Spirfire. Also in attendance was the Vultee BT13 based at Albury and maintained by Hazair. Of particular interest to us was VH-CIA, a North American T28 that was bought in Laos by Hazair as a batch of 16. All 16 aircr...aft were imported to Australia by Hazair, with VH-CIA joining our own Trojan, VH-MEO and three others, that underwent full restoration at our Albury workshop. It was fantastic to see this aircraft still being enjoyed and demonstrated to the public. We hope to join it in the air with our own Trojan at the next Tyabb airshow.
