19.01.2022 During the current Coronavirus pandemic, Hazards Hideaway, like all other visitor accommodation beach houses, has been closed in an effort to flatten the curve. We have succeeded! Whilst the government decides when it will be possible for us to reopen for business we are taking the opportunity to encourage you to consider coming to visit once restrictions are lifted, possibly mid May. No doubt it will be sometime before we can welcome back overseas guests and perhaps even mainland travelers and so it is to fellow Tasmanian's we suggest to check our winter specials they are bound to entice you to stay a little longer to enjoy the warmth of the wood fire whilst relishing the magnificent waterfront scenery.

12.01.2022 Hazards Hideaway is looking forward to having you back or welcoming new guests. We are a cosy little hideaway on the bay. Suitable for 1-2 couples. Due to configuration of bedrooms and no fencing we are not suitable for young families. Bookings made through Freycinet Holiday Houses

10.01.2022 No wonder everyone is heading to Hazards Hideaway at Coles Bay on Tasmania's East Coast. Only 8 km from the famed Freycinet National Park and a picturesque walk to Wine Glass Bay.

10.01.2022 It was with great sadness we heard of the sudden passing of Jon English. We admired this amazing rock star through out his successful varied career and were privliged to have him stay at Hazards Hideaway during 2015. In speaking with Jon personally he promised to return and spend longer, unfortunately now this will not eventuate. RIP Jon English you were an Aussie icon. Deepest sympathy to all who loved you.

10.01.2022 Hazards Hideaway Coles Bay has joined Facebook! We look forward to having our guests share their experiences, comments and photos taken while staying with us.

01.01.2022 Two whales and many dolphins and seals have been seen in the bay in front of Hazards Hideaway over the past fortnight. With a plethora of Sea eagles, Pacific gulls, Terns, Gannets, Cormorants and the occasional Pelican one does not need to go far from the front deck for entertainment.
