22.01.2022 In the interests of protecting staff and other customers, we kindly request that you consider the following points: - Is what you’re buying essential? (Eg just buying chips and a soft drink, probably not essential) - Do you have to come into the store? (Eg instead of mum and dad and all three kids coming in for a loaf of bread, just one of you come in to the shop) - Are you loitering? (Please try to have a purpose when you come in, grab what you need and go, don’t wander arou...nd to browse or check how empty the shelves are because it places everyone at risk unnecessarily) - Are you being kind to the staff? (We are all only human. We are all worried about the uncertainty of what is happening. We are also all running low on toilet paper too. We’re all doing everything we can and abusing the staff will not be tolerated. Snarky comments about why we are wearing a mask or why don’t we have stock are uncalled for and unkind. *Side note: staff wear masks for customers protection more than their own. We interact with hundreds of people in a day, we are trying to protect you all. - Are you doing everything you can to minimise contact in the shop? This is the biggest point. If you have decided that it’s essential for you to come do some shopping, please minimise the contact you have with staff and other customers. Some things you can do to minimise contact around the shop are: * Order your list by aisles so you only have to make one lap of the shop for everything you need. * Don’t pick anything up unless you intend to buy it. * Buy enough in one go to last you a few days. * Leave as much space as possible when passing other people around the shop. Politely say excuse me can I please get past you? instead of pushing past people. * Pay with tap and go instead of cash. * Make note of the tape on the floor that marks 1.5m from the person serving you and additional tape spread 1.5m apart for people lining up. It’s important that as a community, we all do out bit to help contain the spread of COVID-19. The staff are working hard to provide an essential service and we are putting ourselves at risk for you, please respect our space and try to do what you can to reduce our risk. If any staff member was to get sick, the shop would have to close for an unknown amount of time. Stay safe everyone, please remember to stay home wherever possible, wash your hands whenever possible and be kind to everyone always.

09.01.2022 Christmas showbags are out on display today! They are super limited in stock so get in fast if you want one!

08.01.2022 Today’s toilet paper delivery sold out completely in about 3 hours! Our next grocery delivery is Monday, however, stock may be limited as we have been put on order restrictions by our warehouse. Whilst we don’t have limits on what customers can purchase, please be considerate of others when buying toilet paper and remember that not everyone can afford to stockpile or has the opportunity to buy it during the day. No toilet paper will be held for customers, it’s first in firs...t served. At this point it is unclear when our stock will be fully replenished, hopefully this all blows over soon and everything settles back to normal. Thank you for your patience during the great toilet paper shortage of 2020.

03.01.2022 Hazelbrook Foodworks will now have QR codes at the entrance for you to sign in when entering the store to help with contact tracing. We hope that it wont be necessary for long, but in the meantime, all have to do our bit to help stop the spread of COVID-19. Thanks, Management

It’s nice to be appreciated we are all working hard to be able to provide you with the best level of service we can and we appreciate your patience whilst we sort everything out. Special thanks to the customers who have bought us chocolate (a lot got eaten before this photo was taken ) or sent cards or gone out of their way to make us smile, it means a lot and it’s what keeps us all going we should all be proud to be a part of such a wonderful community
