25.01.2022 Its been a long time between posts... We have had lots of passes in that time, I just havent been well enough to be on social media to celebrate them. Like lots of other people I picked up a cold. Following the government recommendations, I had a COVID test and took a week off work while I recovered. (Massive loss of income for a sole trader, but thats our way of life at the moment) ... If you have just a cold PLEASE do the same. We will not accept clients in our cars who are unwell; we will not risk other people getting sick. If you get a cold, do what our government says and get tested! Thank you for doing your bit to keep my family, and yours, SAFE!

24.01.2022 Today it was Angus’ time to smile after he experienced success in his One Day Intensive Program. After travelling from the Yorke Peninsula for this, Angus was always going to have a big learning curve coming his way. But he took it in his stride, put in the long, hard hours and earned the reward at the end of the day. Congratulations Angus! Stay safe on both the city and country roads. ...

23.01.2022 More success this weekend with our One Day Intensive Program. Nathan firstly had a couple of preparation lessons in Elizabeth to allow him to develop his skills in interacting with traffic and main roads, as the small town he comes from lacked these. He then decided to complete our One Day Intensive Program to get his licence. His instructor was confident he would score 10/10 for his manoeuvres, and how right he was! This, combined with his drive, scored Nathan his Certifi...cate of Competency. YAY!!!! Congratulations Nathan!!

23.01.2022 After having a single lesson at the start of July, Hayley made the decision to then book in for a One Day Intensive Program. Today was the day! And after scoring herself a 93% Hayley is a HAPPY HAPPY girl! CONGRATULATIONS!

23.01.2022 Congratulations to Kasey for easily passing her VORT today at Elizabeth on her FIRST attempt! A winning smile from a winner! Kasey averaged a lesson about every 2/3 weeks, listened to her instructors advice and completed the test when she was ready! Smart decision and a very smooth process throughout!... Enjoy your licence, Kasey.

23.01.2022 Casey is one of the highest scorers we have had lately scoring 97% for his VORT! His regular lessons over the last week lead to an AWESOME drive with 10/10 for the manoeuvres as well. Great work, Casey!

22.01.2022 The second of our One Day Intensive Program passes yesterday was Nicholas. Finding time for Nicholas to have regular lessons and be able to get his Ps was proving difficult due to how booked out we (and everyone) are. So once again our One Day Intensive Program proved perfect! Nicholas had a full-on long day, but the results at the end speak for themselves! ... Congratulations Nicholas!

18.01.2022 Another very happy client (and parents ) Ammal came to us to do his One Day Intensive Program. Like we generally do, we provided him with some preparation to do before the course, and Ammal actually seemed to do it. He drove beautifully and competently through the day, and more importantly, during the VORT to achieve his Certificate of Competency. ... HPT is done, and he is now on the road solo. Congratulations! 17.01.2022 Where do I start with Hannahs story... Oh yeah, back in November 2019! Its been a long journey, but today now marks the end of an era as we send Hannah on the road solo! It wasnt easy, as Hannah, a quite emotional soul, found it hard to keep her nerves under control during VORTs. ... But something she did show was RESILIENCE! And today, we had the perfect recipe (blue car, brown dog and red lollies) to achieve success! Congratulations Hannah! What you learned during this journey goes way beyond being able to drive safely on our roads.

17.01.2022 On Thursday it was Hannahs turn to celebrate a First Time Pass at the conclusion of her One Day Intensive Program. Before we had even met Hannah we felt good about this one. If the organisation and communication were something to go on we had a winner already. And she didnt disappoint * 10/10 for her manoeuvres. ... * HPT done so she was then off to Service SA to complete the Ps process. * Her Driving Companion was in such good condition the staff even commented on it. Well done Hannah. Now Mum gets her Friday nights, and probably LOTS of other time, back!

14.01.2022 Elisas story is one we hear often. She got her licence as a 16 year old and then did the right thing by booking some professional driving lessons. But then unfortunately was not successful when attempting a VORT, and like many others, was hesitant to try again. Her learners permit was renewed. ... Elisa wanted a female instructor, but when we could only fit her in with one of our male instructors, she accepted that. And I think now she would be happy she did so, as two months later Elisa has successfully obtained her Ps!! (There may have been tears of happiness shed - but was it by her or her instructor who was SO proud of her!) Congratulations Elisa! You are an inspiration to others!

14.01.2022 Today we experienced a very special moment when we had Dakota pass her VORT first time! (And on one of the hardest Elizabeth courses!) Dakota smartly decided to do our One Day Intensive Program. To ensure she felt comfortable with both the instructor and his car, she had an introductory lesson in the week leading up to today. Maybe that helped lead to success, but really it was the belief she had in herself. The excitement at the end of the day... the jumping up and down... ...the screaming... the tears of joy... - that is what we love about this job! Thank you Dakota for passing today and making so many people happy! And CONGRATULATIONS!!!

With a baby of less than 5 months old at home, Im not sure where Nicole found the energy for a whole day of training and driving. But somehow she did! And she did it well! Great effort, Nicole! We are VERY proud of you!...

But those nerves turned to relief less than an hour later, when she successfully passed her One Day Intensive Program! And that smile on her face says it all!...

12.01.2022 Congratulations today go to Lachy for passing his One Day Intensive Program! Lachy smartly started out with a couple of lessons to see if he was a good candidate for the Program. It was soon ascertained he was, and the 30th August was booked in. The practice in between lessons helped Lachy tremendously, and it was with confidence he set off for his VORT this afternoon. ... With his cheer squad there to hear the news at the end of the day, Lachy celebrated with an awesome 95% and 10/10 for his manoeuvres. Great work, Lachy!

11.01.2022 Weve missed celebrating a few successes this week (my fault for being too busy to post them!) but here is one of todays! Congratulations to Logan on passing his One Day Intensive Program today. As a motorbike rider, Logan already had the skill of interacting with traffic, but doing it in a car is a whole different ball game! A few reminders about watching his speed in all the different speed zones, and 5 manoeuvres to learn and Logan was on his way to SUCCESS! Congratulations Logan. Enjoy the warmer car travel for the rest of winter.

11.01.2022 Our success in the Barossa Valley continues with Anika who passed her VORT late in August. Anika knew how to drive from the first time we saw her; it was just a matter of installing the systems and procedures into her driving. After a series of spaced out lessons, Anika sat her VORT at Nuriootpa and passed FIRST TIME! Congratulations Anika!

10.01.2022 Our One Day Intensive Program is a very popular and successful way for learners to get their licence. It is an 8 hour day (training and then the VORT). Total cost is $850 which includes training all day, the use of the instructors car, the VORT, the examiners fee and the government booking fee. ... 10.01.2022 Another day with two more passes in our One Day Intensive Program! First up we have Dylan. Dylan was very nervous last night. Dylan was very nervous this morning. Dylan was very nervous when the VORT started. ... But... Dylan kept his nerves under control during the test and even managed to score 10/10 for the manoeuvres! In the end, a 93% got him his Certificate of Competency. Well done, Dylan. Time to relax tonight!

09.01.2022 This is Julians story - Julians mum first contacted us in February. His lessons began in March. ... April - The industry got shut down. Test booked in July - the examiner got sick and had to cancel. Test booked in early August - Julian had to go into COVID quarantine. Test finally PASSED later in August. Hour drive to go to Service SA to finally complete his HPT, and Julian didnt take his Certificate of Competency with him. I believe Mum is extremely grateful to have all this behind her at last. What an ordeal! And we know there are lots of other people who have experienced significant delays in getting their licence too. Remember - good things are worth waiting for (and sometimes there is no choice ) Stay safe, stay smiling

09.01.2022 Our success in the Barossa continues with two tests and two passes this week. Jesse from Sandy Creek, more used to driving a manual, was the first to cruise to victory at Nuriootpa. After that we had Tessa, who having to take time off work for the VORT, was eager to get through first time. And she did!... Congratulations to both drivers. Stay safe out there on your roads and continue to drive with patience and consideration.

08.01.2022 Congratulations to Tia for passing her VORT today at Elizabeth. Tia showed that if you keep up your practicing before lessons, success can be yours when it really matters! The Hazard Perception Test might still be required, but the hard part is done!

06.01.2022 Ruby! Ruby! Ruby! Congratulations to Ruby for passing her One Day Intensive Program after an early, early start. 10/10 for her manoeuvres definitely helped secure her pass! Having your licence is definitely going to help you get around, Ruby. Good on you!

05.01.2022 Due to COVID-19 restrictions, Service SA is currently closed. This affects all customer service centres and phone services. Additionally, Ridersafe is currentl...y not available, as well as the Department for Infrastructure and Transport’s motor vehicle inspection services. Service SA is endeavouring to contact affected customers with services booked and we thank customers for their patience. Online services remain available: www.service.sa.gov.au All of these services are expected to resume on Wednesday, 25 November, subject to any further announced restrictions.

02.01.2022 For all those people already enquiring about their booked, cancelled and upcoming lessons and tests - Like many businesses and sole traders we are waiting for the next documentation from SA Police. We then also have to wait for our new COVID SA Plans to be issued. We will keep you posted.

I’ve never known anyone before who works at a zoo. Well done today, Gemma. The pre-VORT lesson gave you that chance to warm up and review everything and subsequently you achieved the reward! ... Great work especially with the 10/10 on your manoeuvres.
