09.01.2022 Wow, what a great NAIDOC Week! Thank you to Contarf Academy for having us down at their centre this week. We look forward to coming back in a week or so. A big shout out to all of the people that attended the Family Event on the foreshore what a great crowd and fantastic to see all of the schools there. We made heaps of Home Country badges. We visited Port Augusta Secondary School today for the NAIDOC Assembly. Congrats to all of the award winners.... Finally a huge shout out to all of the event organisers and people that attended events. There are still more events tonight and tomorrow. Check the calendars for times and locations. 06.01.2022 There are a heap of great events and activities for NAIDOC week in Port Augusta. The theme for 2020 is Always Was, Always Will Be. We recognise that First Nations people have occupied and cared for this continent for over 65,000 years and NAIDOC week 2020 invites all Australians to embrace the true history of this country a history which dates back thousands of generations. headspace Port Augusta will be at the "One Community Together " event down at the beach this Thursda...y so come along and drop in and check us out. We will also be visiting the Contarf Academy to meet and talk with the young leaders of the future.
