19.01.2022 Walked into a tiny church in central Victoria (Goorambat) last week and was left speechless and deeply moved by this wonderful mural. Commissioned by the local United Church Community and painted by a talented street artist, the work is titled "Sophia" and is described as the female aspect of the Holy Spirit. Sophia by nature is wise, nurturing, comforting, inspirational and ever present.....characteristics that have always been associated with a female depiction of this aspect of God....I placed my harp within the frame to give an indication of the size of this painting.....truly beautiful with the warm light radiating through the church windows.
