25.01.2022 UPDATE. Our phones are now back working. Thank you for your patience. We currently have a Telstra fault on the phone lines, and most calls are not able to get through to our clinic! Please be patient when attempting to get through, our staff are under enormous pressure at the moment and are doing the best they can.... Thank you.

24.01.2022 Health First is excited to announce that Dr Caitlin Webb will be returning to us in 2 short weeks! Caitlin took time off at the beginning of the pandemic to offer her expertise in the Emergency Department at Ballarat Health Services. She will return to us on September 29th. Caitlin will be working 3 days at the Practice and 1 day doing telehealth consultations. She will be taking new patients. New patients and existing patients wanting face to face consultations need to ...call the reception to book on 5331 4341. Existing patients requiring telehealth appointments can book via our website, HotDoc app or by clicking on the book now button in Facebook.

22.01.2022 For those patients who are unaware, Dr Eli Cowling will be leaving us and relocating to Warrnambool in mid December. Eli has been a great asset to the Health First team and we will miss her immensely. Regrettably she will not be able to notify everyone in person, but she wishes her wonderful patients all the best. Appointments with Eli can be booked up until December 16th. Going forward her patients are welcome to book with the lovely Dr Sarah Bothe.

09.01.2022 Health First Medical Group are pleased to announce that due to Medicare changes we can continue to offer telehealth consultations for our patients. As of the 1st of October, discounted private fees apply to all bookings excluding patients under 16 years old and over 65 years old pension card and Veteran’s affairs card holders. To be eligible for a telehealth consultation the patient has to have been seen in-person at the clinic within 12months. If you are not eligible a non-...rebatable fee will apply. Fees vary according to the complexity of the service; Standard Consultation: $65.00 - (Medicare Rebate: $38.75) Long Consultation: $102.00 - (Medicare Rebate:$75.05) Mental Health Plans and reviews will attract an out of pocket expense of $20.00.

07.01.2022 It is with great excitement that we welcome our newest team member to Health First. Dr Sarah Bothe will be joining our Practice from Monday 2nd November. Sarah is returning to her hometown with her husband and new baby after spending some time living in Melbourne. She has a special interest in Women's health, Paediatrics, Mental Health and Skin conditions. She will taking on new patients....
