12.01.2022 Today, 11 April, is World Parkinson’s Day, the date being the birthday of James Parkinson, an English surgeon and author of ‘An Essay on the Shaking Palsy’, pub...lished in 1817. He was the first to describe "paralysis agitans", a condition that would later be renamed Parkinson's disease. 04.01.2022 We are very sad to announce that Dr Jenna has had to leave us very suddenly in response to current travel advice. We wish Jenna all the best and look forward to her joining us again in the future

03.01.2022 The Health Hub Family GP team is committed to providing you with quality medical care during this time. We have taken extra measures to ensure the safety of you, your loved ones and our staff. All patients are screened at the time of their booking, but we also request patients notify us of any developing cold or flu like symptoms by phone before they attend their appointment. We also have a dedicated space that can be used to isolate vulnerable or high risk patients if nece...ssary. All seating in our waiting area has been moved to comply with social distancing guidelines, with toys and magazine removed (so please BYO entertainment!) All surfaces are disinfected regularly by staff and hand sanitiser if available at the entrance/exit hall of the practice. We understand that many families are experiencing financial hardship at this time, so telehealth appointments are now available and are bulk-billed for anyone with a Medicare card. We are also offering bulk-billed appointments for all children 16 years and under who are required to attend the practice. If you have any enquiries, or need to speak to one of our doctors please call us on 08 8376 2957.
