15.01.2022 Geranium - Pelargonium graveolens Geranium is sometimes called the "WOMAN'S OIL" because of it's regulatory action on the hormones secreted by the adrenal cortex. Geranium essential oil is a wonderful remedy for problems cause by fluctuating hormone such as menopause and PMS.... Geranium essential is great oil to be using on your skin as it helps with dry skin that may occur with menopause as Its antibacterial and anti-inflammatory property it also helps keep dermatitis, eczema, pimples and psoriasis at bay. By addind 3 drops of Geranium essential oil into 5 ml Jojoba oil and massage it into your skin daily will help to improve your skin. I love to use Geranium essential oil on my clients to help soothe (PMS) as this time of month where hormonal imbalances often bring about mood swings, irritability, abdominal cramps and bloating in women. Geranium essential oil's calming properties along with its ability to balance hormones makes it useful for coping with PMS. 05.01.2022 Nourishing Friday As it comes to the end of another busy week try to take some time out for self care over the weekend to help nourish your mind body and soul. With love and care by relaxing in your favouite spot in your graden and kick back and enjoy the beautiful outdoors as you breathe in the fresh autunm air. While you are in the graden stop and ground yourself, feel the grass between your toes,listen to the birds singing and tell your self everything is ok.... Look around and see what beauty is in your garden, then remind yourself of the beauty within your mind body and soul. While you are reminding yourself of the beauty within you tell yourself you are beautiful,caring,loving and strong and dont look at how far you have to go, look at how far you have come and what you have accomplshed in the past week and be grateful and think about have I nourished my mind body and soul with this week. "Ask yourself these questions" Have I been looking after myself ? Have I been eating to much takeawy food instead of eating healthy resh fruit and vegetables? Have I been drinking to much caffeine and not enough water througout the day? Most of all have I been getting a solid sleep at night ? Is my pillow like a battlfiled at night where I am going over everything I have said and done thoughout the day and thinking about what is going to happen tomorrow ? I have had times in my life where I have not been nourishing my mind body and soul. Then I start to remind myself that my body is like a graden and if I do not water, feed or get enough soild sleep the body starts to wither and the mind becomes frazzled and the soul becomes dark and gloomy. Once I start to nourish my mind body and soul with postive thoughts and healthy eating and drinking plenty of water thoughtout the day and then before I go to bed I use an essetial oil blend to help bring calm, peaceful thoughts into my mind to help me have a solid sleep. While you are in your graden think of yourself as a beautiful plant in your garden that you love and nourishment. Then let it bloom with nourishing love and life.
