25.01.2022 Alana found a baby pigeon, nana is helping her look after it.

23.01.2022 For the first time ever Alana has been woken up because "Daddy is playing his music too loud!" And no hearing aid on at all!

20.01.2022 Off to Brisbane this evening to attend the Hear and Say Centre outreach camp. Alana has a hearing test on Tuesday I can't wait to know the results!!

19.01.2022 A lovely lady by the name of Joanne made this beautiful cake for Alana's welcome home first day back at kindy tomorrow. It's absolutely amazing! Jo you're truly thoughtful and generous - not to mention talented!!!

18.01.2022 Two and a half months after Alana's combined atresia medpor surgery she has been cleared to swim and loving every minute!!!

17.01.2022 Nana brought her guinea pigs up to visit and Alana is so excited, she took it into her room to play on the castle.

16.01.2022 Alana has been helping me paint our deck today, in preparation for summer. She refused to wear her hearing aid - telling me she didn't need it anymore.

15.01.2022 Almost two years after her operation to give her a new ear in America. Alana has had another op today to fit her with a BAHA. She is doing well, just very sleepy.

13.01.2022 Alana had her hearing tested today. She had a severe to profound loss five years ago at her birth, which went to a severe loss and remained that way until one month ago when she had her life changing surgery. Today for her fifth birthday we have all been given the news that her hearing is at a moderate to mild loss and is likely to improve over the coming months! With an improvement already of 30-40 decibels - the doctors are very happy to see this result so soon!! This is ...the best birthday gift any little girl could receive! As her mum and dad we are so grateful that we had all of your support that helped us give Alana this gift! See more

07.01.2022 Alana is off to her first day of school this morning and she is excited! We want to thank everyone who helped us reach the goal of giving Alana the gift of hearing before prep! She is so confident these days and just loves her new ear. So a BIG thank you to all involved!!

03.01.2022 Big week for Alana, today she has prep orientation - and is so excited to go to big school! And Thursday (fingers crossed) we will have her hearing tested to see where we are since the operation.
