25.01.2022 Every situation in your life that you are struggling to accept or are unhappy being in is causing a negative emotion in your body that then presents itself as stress and anxiety. Feelings of stress and anxiety appear when you don’t want to be where you are. Unfortunately feeling this way blocks any clarity for you to be able to see where you would rather be and it becomes like a constant battle of wanting to escape the present moment. 23.01.2022 Did you know that one of the biggest issues that my clients have is that they don’t feel good enough or worthy enough to be happy. This presents itself in different forms of issues but the biggest one is beating themselves up for something that they have said or done in the past. This then causes anxiety and often keeps a person awake at night overthinking all the things that they wish they could of said or done instead. Staying awake at night replaying those scenarios over a...gain causes more stress to the mind and the body. I find that using self calming techniques like focusing on the breath or repeating a mantra of I am loving awareness or I am loving kindness helps a person to focus on something other then the incessant thoughts. 16.01.2022 Depression is caused by reliving past events and getting caught in a loop of thinking about what has already happened that then causes a negative emotion in your body that then presents as sadness, anger, depression and bitterness. Anxiety is caused by thinking about the future and worrying that it won’t be the way you would like it to be and fearing the worst case scenario and this then causes an anxious energy in your body that presents as fear, stress and anxiety. 16.01.2022 Anger can become a problem if it is a habitual reaction to life’s challenges. We are rarely taught how to deal with negative emotions when they arise and reacting in anger can cause even more problems to your relationships. When you feel hurt or frustrated acknowledging those emotions and practicing not to react will spare you from the consequences of reacting in anger. Walking away from a situation and coming back to deal with it at a later time will allow you to calm down and to be able to express yourself from a calmer state. 16.01.2022 It is important to be aware of our energy and if we are living at peace or from a space of stress, overwhelm and anxiety. When we are at peace we spread that out into the world but when we are stressed, anxious or overwhelmed we lose awareness of our actions and we can take out our emotions onto those people around us causing us to be rude, snap at others and treat people badly and that energy also turns inwards making those negative emotions stronger within ourselves. 12.01.2022 Spending the next two days here in this beautiful setting whilst being emerged in the healing energy of a Reiki course. Having new experiences, meditating lots and taking some much needed time out to reconnect with myself and nature Reiki is a Japanese word meaning Universal life energy. At first it was hard to accept that my negative thoughts were having such an effect on my life but after I tested this theory out with positive thinking, speaking and acknowledging what my negative beliefs were and then working on clearing those negative beliefs I slowly started to notice that my life was changing in the most posi...tive ways. 09.01.2022 A daily practice of meditation is a must for me. I need to take that time out to just be and to basically clean the slate of my mind so it’s clearer to get me through the day with a calm mind. This allows me to have more clarity and be held accountable for my reactions to life’s situations and to the people around me. I love how calm I feel after being still and going within. There are many forms of meditation that you could practice. You can focus on your breath, you can foc...us on sounds around you or you can repeat a word out load or in your mind. Aum is a very popular word to chant but if this word doesn’t suit you due to religious beliefs you can use a word that resonates with your beliefs. Repeating a word out loud or in your mind can stop the mind from its constant chatter and you’ll notice that after a while your mind becomes still and you can access that state of pure awareness. 03.01.2022 Our minds can inprison us with the constant chatter that goes on in there. We can be so undisciplined in thinking that it can cause all sorts of fear and anxiety for us. Why do we choose to give so much energy to our thoughts when the solution can be so simple? Notice your thoughts like they are just sounds happening in your head not believing in everything they say, at first this might be an odd concept to you but the more you notice and acknowledge your thoughts as just a happening the quieter your mind will become and the less energy you will loose to that constant chatter. 02.01.2022 It’s a busy time of year and many people are rushing to get things done for the Christmas season, however being this busy also causes a lot of stress and overwhelm. A tip to get through this busy season having some sanity left is to be present. It’s not just enough to slow down you actually need to be mindful about slowing down and be mindful in every action that you take. This takes some practice but the more you do it the more natural it becomes.
