15.01.2022 This is an excellent initiative by Lifeline, which is aimed at helping those that arent comfortable talking to someone over the phone. The times may be Eastern states time which would make it 4pm to 8pm here. Please share with your friends and family.

13.01.2022 HMS volunteers will be at the Port container drop off point (Port Hedland Turf Club) from 8 to 10 am tomorrow. Help us help you by: 1. Having your scheme ID (we can't do cash refunds - sorry folks) 2. Remove all container lids BEFORE coming to the drop point... 3. Sorting stops at 10, so please arrive BEFORE 9:45 4. Taking large volumes of containers to Wedgefield (we will only have 3 volunteers on hand and the max we can accept is 800 containers). Sticking to the above will help us sort your trash in a flash.

07.01.2022 *A DONATION WITH BYTE AND AN EXCITING ANNOUNCEMENT* Firstly, we want to say a MASSIVE thanks to Matt Herwig (second from left) and his son Brandon (third from left) from Charity Begins @ Home PC, who have refurbished and donated this epic high-powered PC to The Hedland Mens Shed. Matt runs Charity Begins @ Home PC, a charity organisation that rebuilds and gifts old computers to people unable to afford them, with Brandon helping his old man out with the rebuilds what a coup...le of legends!! The Hedland Mens Shed Committee thought we would use this opportunity as a teaser for the soon-to-be-revealed location of the Hedland Mens Shed. Check out the view from our future BBQ area! Its been a long road, but we are super close. We are currently working through the approvals/administration and hope to have the keys before the end of the year. IMPORTANTLY FOR EXISTING AND PROPSECTIVE MEMBERS, the shed spaces will be a blank canvas so if you want to contribute to what they look like, now is the perfect time to sign up. Your ideas and skills will be invaluable with assisting with the development of a great mens shed for the Hedland community.
