25.01.2022 Some more fun ideas for kids - dinosaurs digs put some dinosaurs in water and freeze then let the kids brake them out - rainbow making coloured paper glue and cotton balls ... - colouring booking and cut up paper instead of colouring

20.01.2022 Dear families It’s with much regret that I inform you all that as of today Playgroup NSW has decided to shut down all Playgroup’s till the end of term due to the coronavirus 1st day back will the 1st of May at this stage. We will keep you posted with more information on when we will be back up and running once we know. We hope you continue to support our community based group once we are back up and running we will miss all your beautiful faces. ... During this time all toys will have a deep clean ready for your return. Don’t forget to - wash your hands - Cover your mouth when you cough - Please stay away from people when you are sick Please feel free to tag your friends to get the word out We hope you all stay safe and we will see you soon xxx

19.01.2022 Hi families We a hope you are all well Playgroup NSW have given us the all clear to reopen yay.. but with that being said our playgroup has decided to stay closed for term 3 .... As we only have a tiny committee it would be a lot of extra work put on them as we only have 2 hours at the centre from start to finish. So during term 3 the team is going to put together new measures and COVID safe plans to reopen in term 4. With everything that is happening now we don’t feel it’s safe to reopen and we only have our families best interest at heart Some of the new measures that will be discussed for term 4 will be -Hand washing on arrival and departure - Hand sanitizer stations - How to make sure toys are being clean properly on arrival and departure - morning tea routine - the amount of people entering the centre - the centre’s hygiene procedures Please if you have any questions regarding any of this please feel free to dm this page and we will happy answer any queries you may have. If any one would like to arrange play dates at the park during these times please feel free to pop a message down on this page We are truly sorry again xxx

19.01.2022 Today’s session was a bit quieter then the past few weeks but still lots of new faces March is healthy habit month at Playgroup NSW today we incorporated it in to our craft area with some cutting and pasting healthy foods from magazines. Then in our home corner area we had toothbrushes, face washers, nail brushes and loafers to practice personal healthy habits on our dolls . Our activities today included - 2x low balance beams 1x high balance beam, tunnel, parachute, balls a...nd soccer net, pop up tents, home corner, toy food, dolls, prams, bikes, craft table, stickle bricks, train set, little people, book corner, puppet show, slide, traffic lights and cones. 14.01.2022 So most of you know it’s school holidays so all play groups are closed for 2 weeks but we will be back up and running after the school holidays In different locations If you would like to meet up please keep an eye on our Facebook page. Day and time will be the same ... 05.01.2022 Hi all hope your enjoying this beautiful day Unfortunately I have some bad news Nancy was contacted by council and they have decided to redo the flooring in the hall term 4 so we can not use this space ... They gave us the option to use the youth centre next door but unfortunately only 10 people would be allowed and only small toys at one time So for term 4 we have decided that at 10:30 each Friday we will meet in different locations eg park, duck pond park if you would like Unless any one has any other suggestions Also as some as you may know last year council made us cull some of our toys we had to throw out about a skip bin worth of equipment And unfortunately they want us to do the same again once the flooring and a done This will put a toll on play group and it’s equipment for next year We really want to keep playgroup running as it’s been going for over 40 years so any suggestions would be much appreciated on how to keep this running Thank you xx
