19.01.2022 Morning walk Im finding the small, insignificant details in nature particularly consoling at the moment.
18.01.2022 And the people stayed home. And read books, and listened, and rested, and exercised, and made art, and played games, and learned new ways of being, and were still. And listened more deeply. Some meditated, some prayed, some danced. Some met their shadows. And the people began to think differently. And the people healed. And, in the absence of people living in ignorant, dangerous, mindless, and heartless ways, the earth began to heal. And when the danger passed, and the people... joined together again, they grieved their losses, and made new choices, and dreamed new images, and created new ways to live and heal the earth fully, as they had been healed. 14.01.2022 Shooting fashion is not my usual area of interest but since my daughter, artist @minnaleunig has been working in collaboration with ethical and sustainable Melbourne designer @kuwaii Ive become interested. I was asked to shoot a series of images in a documentary style which I found difficult because everything is set up. For someone who usually works alone it was nevertheless an interesting and enjoyable experience working with a team. Pleased to have 14 images published in @vulcan a Toronto based international magazine @nstyledreams @teighanleehmua @emmelliemccosh @frmmodels #fashionphotography #vulcan #kuwaii

03.01.2022 From the archive - 1987 I photographed Chenduang in her small flat in the North Melbourne Alfred Street Towers. She had no family and couldnt speak English. As the towers were in lockdown, I was reminded of her and others like her who must have been fearful and bewildered. #coronaviruslockdown #blackandwhiteportrait #blackandwhitefilm #nonenglishspeakingmigrant #documentaryphotography
