04.01.2022 Martine Martine comprises Christine Douglas (vocals & guitar) and Mark Davidson (vocals & guitar). They draw their music from folk traditions, country, pop, and... a smattering of original material. Christine is known for her melodious soprano voice which transports you as she sings with her characteristic style. She is a fine singer and quickly acquired a following when she started to perform at folk clubs in and around Brisbane only a few years ago. Mark is best known locally for his song-writing. He has three CDs to his credit. Mark has performed solo and as a member of various line-ups at folk clubs, at festivals in Queensland and Interstate, including the National Folk Festival. Together they combine their talents vocally and instrumentally as Martine to perform a strong and varied selection of songs to make you smile, some to make you weep (just a little) and some you’ll just want to join in with and sing too!
