16.01.2022 Meet the performers: The Candy Topps The Candy Topps busted out in 2009 and have continued to thrill Melbourne audiences with their stunning harmonies and their razor sharp wit ever since. The multiple award nominated cabaret trio have graced the performing circuit, featuring in Melbourne Cabaret Festival, Melbourne Fringe and Melbourne Comdey Festival. Even dipping their stilettos in the Family Friendly Cabaret world with The Candy Totts.... Watch out for these ladies in 2020 with their upcoming show ..



11.01.2022 Meet the performers: Jenna Featherstone Jenna has been performing for over 20 years in musical theatre productions throughout Australia. Recent highlights include The Sound of Music (Elsa Schrader - Babirra Music Theatre), Les Miserables & The Pajama Game (OSMAD), Annie (Grace Farrell; Savoyards), Young Frankenstein (Inga; MLOC) and The Drowsy Chaperone (CLOC). An advertising professional by day, when she’s not making ads she’s singing about them in her cabaret, ‘False Advert...ising’ which debuted at The Butterfly Club in 2019. Jenna has also performed as a soloist at Broadway Unplugged and has appeared at The Cabaret Showcases. Jenna is excited to be a part of the launch of The Firehouse Theatre, which is sure to be one of Melbourne's most exciting new performance venues.

WRITING: REBEL (Greenroom Awards Nominee 2014 Best Original Songs, and Nominee 2019 Original Australian Works), BEAUTIFUL THINGS (Chapel off Chapel 2017), A SUPER BRADY CABARET (StageArt 2016). Drew is also Executive Producer for Front & Centre Australia and Musical Director of Melbourne Gay & Lesbian Chorus.

06.01.2022 Meet the performers: Carolyn Waddell Carolyn has performed in Music Theatre for over 40 years. Her passion is now directing and repertoire coaching - she works with some of Australia's best contemporary music theatre performers, specialising in technique and vocal health.



04.01.2022 Meet the performers: Song for Swingin' Lovers Created by Amelia Homes and Lachlan Graham, Song for Swingin’ Lovers! is a memoir of love, lust and regret set to Frank Sinatra’s title album and illustrated through song and dance. Songs for Swingin’ Lovers! was originally created in 2018 for The Cabaret Showcase and returned to Chapel Off Chapel later that year for a further season. Together with John Reed (West Side Story, Jesus Christ Superstar), Emma Russell (The Wizard of OZ, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory) and Tom New (West Side Story, Chicago) the show explores the ‘concept’ that lives within the album. This special reprise for the Firehouse Theatre is a 10 minute excerpt of the show.

03.01.2022 Meet the performers: Jon Sebastian Jon is has been performing, predominantly in Musical Theatre for over 30 years. Growing up in Cairns he has performed with the highly acclaimed Cairns Choral Society, on the NSW Central Coast with Gosford Musical Society and Laycock Street Theatre and in Melbourne with a number of companies including Fab Nobs Theatre , Whitehorse Musical Theatre and CLOC Musical Theatre at The National Theatre in St Kilda. His own highlights include originating the role of Patroclus in the late Jon English's Rock Opera PARIS in NSW along with Peter Allen for CLOC Musical Theatre in 2008. He currently rehearsing the role of Sam Carmichael for Williamstown Musical Theatre's upcoming production of Mamma Mia! to be staged in May (wmtc.org.au).
