21.01.2022 As you may be aware from tomorrow onwards some hospitality outlets are permitted to offer in house dining to a maximum of 10 people. We have looked at this and decided that we cannot make that work for us. It is simply not a viable proposition either financially or operationally. It is just far too difficult to control and as such we will continue to operate in a take away environment. We trust you will understand this. I know everyone is saying don't pay in cash whilst the virus is around however as a result of that our eftpos fees have more than doubled and the only winner from that is our Bank. We would really appreciate if you possibly can to pay in cash wherever possible. I am more than happy to start a tab up for any of our customers moving forward where you pay a bulk amount up front in cash and then work it away from there. Thanks everyone we really appreciate your help.

14.01.2022 Well finally we have found a weekday barista. Abbey has been with us for a few weeks now and ran the shop when myself and Esther went to Bali for holidays. Abbey is doing an amazing job and is a breath of fresh air for Hello Garry. We would like to formally welcome Abbey to the business and we look forward to her being with us for a very long time. Hi, I'm Michael, I am 21 and married to a wonderful wife Lauren. I was born and raised in Brisbane. I have been a barista for 4 and a half years. My favourite hobbies are golf, ultimate Frisbee and reading. Please make Michael welcome at Hello Garry and say gidday next time your in the shop.

10.01.2022 Good afternoon to all of our wonderful customers. As everyone knows we are living in unprecedented times with the Coronavirus destroying many peoples lives. We are no different sadly and from tomorrow onwards we can no longer offer table dining either inside or outside. We will remain open for take away coffee and food. Our opening times will be Monday to Friday from 5.30am till 10.30am. Clearly this is far from an ideal situation however we have no other choice. Weekend trad...ing hours will be advised later in the week. We need your support more than ever to try and stay afloat and survive this crisis. We are going to trial this for a few days as to its financial viability and if we cannot make it work we sadly will have no choice but to close the doors until such time as this crisis has eased. 08.01.2022 Good afternoon again to all of our loyal customers. Just wanted to provide an update on our ongoing trading. As you would all be aware we can only do take away food and coffee currently. We have been overwhelmed by everyone's support and generosity during this awful time and for that we are eternally grateful. It just goes to show what a fabulous community we operate in. The people are what make Hello Garry a special place to be a part of. A reminder that our trading hours are as follows: Monday to Friday 5.30am till midday, Saturday 6.00am till midday and Sunday 6.30am till midday. 02.01.2022 As you would all be now aware Zoe has finished up as she has moved to New Zealand to attend university. Today though we had a new barista start with us which is very exciting news. Remarkably her name is also Zoe and she comes from New Zealand. Zoe comes to us with lots of barista experience and makes lovely coffee. Next time your in the shop be sure to introduce yourself to Zoe and give her a warm welcome to the Hello Garry family. We look forward to Zoe settling in and being a long term employee for us.
