None of this would have been possible without the outstanding excellent work done by Belinda Cormack of Helloworld-Capalaba Qld. Belinda, at all times was truly amazing in making sure our travel details were completed with full & precise details, often many changes requested by us, but Belinda was always accommodating even though when a few trying days arose. Subway biscuits were good for bribes to close out for our epic adventures before leaving on many jet planes to various & different destinations. No job was too big or too small for Belinda, whom relished in the challenges of the incredible places that we had on our bucket list covering more than 30 countries. From planes, transfer buses, to hire cars, to trains, to more planes and cruise ships, boats & hotel bookings in foreign countries, incredible locations to explore and enjoy all done by our awesome travel agent Belinda " Arriving in Sri Lanka one week after the hotel bombings, tours cancelled in India & airlines going bust in Uzbekistan, was of no issue to us as Belinda was onto it - she just kept arranging alternatives to a few hiccups along our journey. Belinda always reassured us by keeping us updated with emails for our piece of mind, which highlighted her professionalism where she went above and beyond. The Tree grew outside the Railway Station for about 180 years until 2006 when sadly, it was poisoned by an unknown culprit. The famous tree has been preserved and placed under an award-winning structure that gives the illusion of a canopy over the Tree. The best view of the Tree and the memorial is at night when it is beautifully lit by special lighting. 10.01.2022 Did you know - The New Zealand and Australian sub- Antarctica islands (Macquarie Island, Auckland Islands, Campbell Islands and the Snares) have more penguin species than the likes of South Georgia, the famed sub-Antarctica wildlife location departing from Argentina. And thats before you even get to the Ross Sea. The Ross Sea is almost certainly the most pristine marine environment in the planet and is teeming with wildlife. For example, its near impossible to see an Emperor Penguin on a regular Antarctica trip from Argentina, whereas its very, very likely on a Ross Sea trip. Ask us for more details!
