08.01.2022 The value of a travel agent. Travel Specialist Maddy was gifted beautiful flowers and chocolates today from a very grateful client. Client Alan was aboard a 28-night cruise from Brisbane to Tahiti when COVID-19 and the global pandemic first unfolded. As the ship travelled the Pacific it was continually turned away from its ports of call, finally terminating in Hawaii. Getting our client home from Hawaii was where the real trouble started. No commercial flights, governmen...t restrictions, border closures & citizenship issues. We were finally able to find our client a charter flight back to Sydney where he became one of the first returning travelers made to hotel quarantine for 14 days. It was a stressful time for all involved and Alan was very thankful for the time and effort his travel agent put into ensuring his safe return home. Alan says he looks forward to cruising the deep blue waters again. See more
