02.01.2022 CUNARD cruise lines sent us a recipe for their famous Belgian Chocolate Orange Fallen cake. Naomi decided she must try it out and report back . It sure was a yummy and easy dessert for a winters night. Hope you give it a go and enjoy! Belgian Chocolate Orange Fallen Cake Recipe: * 375gr Dark Chocolate (54% solids) * 250gr unsalted butter... * 250gr sugar * 150gr all purpose flour * rind of 1 orange * 6 eggs Method: prepare 6 ramekins with grease-proof paper. Place butter, chocolate and orange rind and melt gently over a stove top to melt and combine. Then set aside to cool. Place sugar, flour and eggs together and mix on high until light and fluffy, ( approx 2 mins) Gently fold the cool chocolate mix in with the flour,eggs and sugar. Fill ramekins with batter approx 3/4 full to allow the mixture to rise. bake for 20 - 25 min 180 c. keeping an eye on them. Serve immediately with ice cream and raspberries. See more
