12.01.2022 Sorry I haven't been about for a while, have been rather busy in the rescue world. However we have managed to rehome a number of senior dogs, which is wonderful considering their other options. Will post some pictures soon. A group of us also attended a special doggy fashion parade for a number of residents in an aged care facility. We all had an excellent day. We have been asked back for Christmas in July.
05.01.2022 I often have people ask if I could walk their dogs, or mind them while they are hospitalised which many times I do, although I am extremely busy with rescue so it stretches me a little too far at times. If it makes a difference to a Senior having a companion or not I want to help. I am wondering how many of you out there would be interested in this opportunity, I would like to set up a service to help, I realise there is a lot to consider here. We are based in Melbourne and cover a wide area. There are also the days we go to nursing homes with our dogs. The joy they bring to the residents is so rewarding.
