All this week we will be celebrating the history, culture and achievements of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people and highlighting ...some of the great work being done throughout the community. Late last week, we were lucky enough to be taken on a guided tour by the traditional land owners around Burleigh Headland as guests of the Jellurgal Aboriginal Cultural Centre Whilst taking in the amazing beachside rainforest walk, we heard about traditional life, ecological practises and the Dreamtime story associated with the creation of Jellurgal (Burleigh Headlands).
