Year in and year out they volunteer their time and expertise to help run every fundraising concert for the benefit of so many Australians going through a multitude of disasters, fires, floods, droughts, etc. They cant do this for you now. 12.01.2022 Roady4Roadies events will not be proceeding on April 5th. Moshtix will refund tickets tomorrow. The decision to cancel the events nationally has been made in li...ght of the pandemic currently gripping the country. https://crewcare.org.au/help/re-fund-my-refund One of the worst affected industries is the live music sector, which has seen everyones income and security vanish in a matter of days. As Roady4Roadies main audience and support base comes from the very industry now facing its darkest hour, we felt it was unreasonable for us to go ahead. At this stage there are no plans to reschedule later in the year, as there are vast number of shows and events looking to do so at that time. There is also the uncertainty surrounding the progress of COVID-19. The ...coalition includes APRA AMCOS, ARIA, Australian Hotels Association, PPCA, Live Performance Australia, Australian Music Industry Network, Australian Festivals Association, AIR, Australian Artist Managers, Support Act, CrewCare and the Live Music Office. CrewCare will emphasise that immediate action is required for freelancers, casuals and contractors who are not covered by the stimulus roll out and can not afford to go through Centrelink waiting period. We also believe that representation to the governments should request immediate substantial funds go to Support Act.
