21.01.2022 IMPORTANT NOTE Henry Kendall Cottage & Historical Museum will be CLOSED 24th of December 2020 through to the 1st of January. REOPENING Saturday 2nd January 2021. 10.30 - 2.30. Our hard-working volunteers will be having a little break but our phone will be monitored for any urgent matters. Thanks everyone for your support over the last difficult year. If you can assist please email [email protected] " My husband has been recalling his teenage years when his family had a little, inherited shack at Daley's Point on the waterfront. My daughter has become very interested in his memories and we are wanting to help him make a little book using his few photos from that time. We wondered if we could buy a map incorporating the... area between the Rip Bridge and the bridge across to St Hubert's Island and copies of any photos from the fifties or earlier. Next to the shack was a house lived in by a Mr Cole and a Mr Pilgrim then a house called "Oban". The next property was called "Melrose". He remembers with interest the shipbuilding yard at "Palermo", owned at that time by the Beatties. There is also a connection for him with the Piper family." See more

01.01.2022 Thank you very much to Central Coast Council for approving our Community Support Grant application for a replacement fridge after ours recently came to the end of its life . Our Members and volunteers are extremely happy . We use it for our lunches, meetings, events and we can have water bottles to sell to thirsty visitors
