07.01.2022 *** NETBALL SUSPENDED UNTIL APRIL 20TH **** THIS INCLUDES ALL TRAININGS, GAMES AND GRADINGS. PLEASE REFER TO EMAIL FROM TNA FOR MORE INFO. MEDIA RELEASE FROM NETBALL QUEENSLAND... From today, Netball Queensland wishes to advise the following guidelines for all community netball competitions. In the interests of public health and to stop the spread of COVID-19, it is the recommendation of Netball Queensland that all community netball activity in Queensland be suspended until Monday 20th April. This includes all playing, training and grading. Netball Queensland understands some Associations and Clubs have already made this decision. While this is an unfortunate disruption to the commencement of the netball season, Netball Queensland believes a consistent approach is key to protecting our netball community from the very challenging COVID-19 situation. It is important to note this is an interim suspension of competition and not a cancellation. Netball Queensland understands the benefits of our community being active and by making this decision now, believes we can all be back on the court sooner than if we delay. Netball Queensland will continue to monitor the situation on a daily basis. We need to keep in mind this is a dynamic situation information will continue to evolve and change. Netball Queensland is committed to keeping you updated. A teleconference will be held on Wednesday 8th April to provide an update on all competitions and events, with written advice following. If the situation changes significantly in the meantime, updates will be provided as required. While Netball Queensland understands the disruption this decision may cause, the highest priority for Netball Queensland continues to be the health and well-being of its athletes, staff, volunteers, members, fans and the broader community.

04.01.2022 COVID Rule update email has been sent to all members. Please check your emails and continue to adhere to all rules and don't forget to socially distance. Happy Monday!

02.01.2022 PLEASE BE AWARE GAMES ARE STILL GOING AHEAD THIS WEEK! Like everyone else TNA is prioritising health in the community. As TNA have under 500 members currently we will continue to operate as normal. However we do have some protocols in place that we ask every member follows. ... We ask at the conclusion of the game the opposing team will give the other team a cheer rather then a hand shake. This will minimalist contact between players. If you are feeling unwell at all please stay away from netball. We understand that playing is a high priority for everyone but we need to minimise risk to all members.
