24.01.2022 Sifting and sorting. Sometimes we need to separate the small wood chip and dirt from the pile. We will use this to create other garden products, like topsoil and mulch.

04.01.2022 We’ve had some new customers come to us lately from other Sydney firewood retailers telling us the wood you see on the left has been sold to them as ‘mixed Australian hardwood’ unfortunately for them, it’s actually local waste timber. Still green, very poor burning (if at all) and dangerous as it blocks up chimneys and covers neighborhoods in acrid smoke. Herfo’s has always gone to great effort to only sell the BEST quality burning firewood. Ethically sourced from areas of extreme low rainfall. Dead standing or dead fallen for at least 5 years seasoned (air dried). Quality guaranteed. Satisfied customers for over 30 years.
