We will restore services to normal as soon as we can, and we're very sorry for any inconvenience this may cause. For help with lost or stolen cards, ring our Contact Centre on 13 14 22
20.01.2022 Nothing like some flowers to brighten your day! COVID-safe restrictions meant some changes to the iconic Toowoomba Carnival of Flowers but we wanted to do something to keep the Carnival spirit going. So we decided give out little pots of flowers to customers visiting some of our Darling Downs branches during Carnival time. We loved seeing your smiling faces when receiving them - enjoy!
20.01.2022 Happy Father’s Day! Whether you’re a dad, dad-to-be, fur baby dad or a dad-figure for someone, we hope you have the most wonderful day!
19.01.2022 As the Christmas holidays approach, we know many people are looking forward to a break, particularly after the uncertain year we've all had! If you're planning to escape to the beach or cross the state borders when they're open, you may want to check that your home and belongings are secured before you go.
18.01.2022 We’re proud to share with you the stories and inspiration behind some of the amazing winning images from the 2020 Heritage Bank Awards, straight from the photographers themselves. First up, Trung Nguyen, Winner of the 2020 Open Category with Swirling Sky. The lighthouse has stood on the headlands at Norah Head for 117 years as a beacon of safety for the area.... I have taken many photographs of this iconic Central Coast lighthouse over the years, from all different angles and at different times of the day. I chose this particular photograph because I liked the turbulent swell of the ocean in the foreground. I wanted to replicate this movement in the sky, hence I created the swirling sky, which also serves to represent the light that shines from the lighthouse. To me this photograph represents strength, endurance and safety, which are all qualities particularly relevant at this time.
18.01.2022 Great news for an Oakey couple who are one of the lucky winners of our insurance campaign promotion with Allianz*! Mr and Mrs Town took out a landlord insurance policy through our Oakey branch in August, putting them into the draw to win their insurance premium back. They’re in the middle of building their dream home at Bribie Island so the win couldn’t have come at a better time. Scott came in to collect their prize and our team was so excited they took a happy snap to share... with everyone! *For more details about the Win Your Insurance Premium Back promotion visit https://www.heritage.com.au/terms-conditions
18.01.2022 Next up in our 2020 Heritage Bank Photographic Awards spotlight series we hear from Peter Rossi about "Standing Strong", Winner Themed Category Resilience: When I first met Leigh, an aboriginal artist, I felt a connection and a strength that I wanted to capture for future audiences to appreciate. At that stage I didn’t know what the final image would be. I let his pose and expression tell the story.

13.01.2022 This year has been a year like so no other, and we’re really proud to see our team be there for our members day after day. To say thank you, our Senior Executive team donned some aprons and put their cooking skills on display with a BBQ at our Toowoomba headquarters. Our amazing branch and office teams who weren’t able to attend held their own celebrations as part of the fun. Joining us were at the BBQ were special guests from food rescue organisation OzHarvest. They rescue ...surplus food from commercial outlets and deliver this good food, at no cost, to charities who feed those in need. In exciting news, OzHarvest Toowoomba recently boosted its food rescue and food relief services in Greater Toowoomba from two days a week to five days a week! Our team had the chance to chat with the OzHarvest crew and learn more about what they do, and also sample some recipes to reduce food wastage like barbecued cauliflower leaves could be a new BBQ favourite! What costume do you think she’ll have this year? https://www.tcof.com.au/grand-central-floral-parade/

06.01.2022 Sowing After Drought by Guy Draper won CEO’s Choice in the 2020 Heritage Bank Photographic Awards. Big thanks to Guy for sharing the story and inspiration behind this amazing image. I always have my camera equipment with me and regularly drive the back roads of the Barossa, performing my work as a Real Estate agent, or pursuing my photographic hobby. I am always on the lookout for something of interest, something that tells a story, something that most people won’t or don...’t see. As soon as I saw the farmer (Mr Graue) still hard at it, as the sun was going down, I knew there were opportunities to capture images that would convey a story. The clean, uncluttered horizon, farmer, machine and a setting sun provided that opportunity, all I had to do was chose the right lens, settings and position, then wait for everything to align. I feel the ‘resilience’ aspect comes from knowing that this farming family have been working this land for many decades, through good years and, like more recent times, tough years. Mr Graue would be in his 80s, is a kind, humble and gentle man, he doesn’t have the most up to date machinery, doesn’t have the biggest farm, the best fences or the highest producing grapevines, he simply cares for what he has and toils to make an honest living for himself and his family.
03.01.2022 Heritage is proud to be a sponsor of The Chronicle GARDEN FOR GOOD, one of the reimagined events of Toowoomba Carnival of Flowers. COVID-safe restrictions mean that gardens will not be open to visitors this year, but you can still experience the beauty of some of the region's incredible gardens and generous community spirit online! Keen gardeners submitted photos of their garden with the top 10 featuring in a digital showcase that includes videos of the gardens, interviews wi...th the gardeners, and a gallery of images. In a bid to spread the love even further, the public can become part of the GARDEN FOR GOOD by donating to each of the nominated charities listed by this year’s participants. The Chronicle's GARDEN FOR GOOD Guide will be inserted in the paper on Friday, 18 September and a 2021 Garden for Good calendar and gardening book is available for purchase at participating newsagents across greater Toowoomba from Friday, September 18. 01.01.2022 Only a few days until the iconic Toowoomba Carnival of Flowers kicks off for 2020! It's been a huge part of the community for many years, just like Heritage, and we’re proud to continue our support as a major sponsor. It may not be quite the same as in previous years, but there are still plenty of ways you can enjoy the elements that make the Carnival so special. http://www.tcof.com.au/
